Synen's Legend-Introduction

Introduction1

Thousands of miles away from our planet, there is another habitable planet called Synen. Synen was a large planet with water and air, just like Earth, but with two moons. Synen was inhabited. By mythical creatures; witches, wizards, unicorns, dwarves, fairies, elves, trolls, sphinxes, griffins, dragons, every magical creature you could think of. The inhabitants of Synen were called Sorans. On Synen, there was one, just one legend, that everybody believed in. Passed down generations. The legend of a witch and a wizard, who were to save Synen from it’s end. A powerful pair with unbelievable magical abilities. Not needing anything other than a wand to deliver any sort of magic, whether it was conjuring, hypnosis, transfiguration or alchemy. The pair were to fall in love and when the end of Synen came, they would make a special bond and their power would course through them, letting Synen carry on, giving and taking life. They would then live their never-ending lives, together. 2

Grace was born second of August and with a full set of pearly white teeth, which wasn’t unusual for a witch. But, she was born with more than one power like other witches and wizards. Her parents knew she was different but, with dark ringlets, tanned skin and bright blue eyes, she was a stunning sixteen year old girl. Around the same time, a boy was born. He was called Michael and he had tanned skin, untidy, black, shaggy hair and gorgeous green eyes, which sparkled when he laughed. He also had more than one power and had been born with a full set of teeth. Both were considered very attractive Sorans. Girls were always after Michael and there was normally a trail of boys behind Grace.

I like this, it has good potential. I think you could have used more extra-ordinary names for Grace and Michael, but I like the name of the planet. Well done
