Broken Heels and Stillettos III

PROLOGUE: Monique was a wrecked flower, scarred from the sins of humanity. Being raped by her father - a figure that she had once loved so much, Monique fled to New York. However, the law also ensured that her whereabouts were still accessible to her father.1

THE EMULATION: *This is a background reading, of Monique's thoughts.2

Say, Tyrant Custom, why must we obey3

The impositions of thy haughty Sway;4

From the first dawn of Life, unto the Grave,5

Poor Womankind's in every State, a Slave.6

The Nurse, the Mistress, Parent and the Swain,7

For Love she must, there's none escape that Pain;8

Then comes the last, the fatal Slavery,9

The Husband with insulting Tyranny10

Can have ill Manners justified by Law;11

For Men all join to keep the Wife in awe.12

Moses who first our Freedom did rebuke,13

Was Marry'd when he writ the Pentateuch;14

They're Wise to keep us Slaves, for well they know,15

If we were loose, we soon should make them so.16

We yield like vanquish'd Kings whom Fetters bind,17

When chance of War is to Usurpers kind;18

Submit in Form; but they'd our Thoughts control,19

And lay restraints on the impassive Soul:20

They fear we should excel their sluggish parts,21

Should we attempt the Sciences and Arts;22

Pretend they were design'd for them alone,23

So keep us Fools to raise their own Renown;24

Thus Priests of old their Grandeur to maintain,25

Cry'd vulgar Eyes would sacred Laws Profane.26

So kept the Mysteries behind a Screen,27

There Homage and the Name were lost had they been seen:28

But in this blessed Age, such Freedom's given,29

That every Man explains the Will of Heaven;30

And shall we Women now sit tamely by,31

Make no excursions in Philosophy,32

Or grace our Thoughts in tuneful Poetry?33

We will our Rights in Learning's World maintain,34

Wit's Empire, now, shall know a Female Reign,35

Come all ye Fair, the great Attempt improve,36

Divinely imitate the Realms above:37

There's ten celestial Females govern Wit,38

And but two Gods that dare pretend to it;39

And shall these finite Males reverse their Rules,40

No, we'll be Wits, and then Men must be Fools. 41

This is New York - a city of sophistication, or perhaps a city were imprints of crime are barely visible. Five years later, Monique was already a well-established publishing editor who appeared on page six regularly.42

She is literally schizoid. A rose that has lost its romanticism whose morbid stings are the only remaining scatters. At day, she would be the envy of every woman - walking tall in her Burberry trench coat and BCBG suede boots. She seemed to be the star of envy - high salary, luxurious house, VIPs in possibly all French brands - Celine, Prada, Chanel.43

Ah, since when could one actually acquire Nirvana in mortal grounds? Yet, as old sayings stated  - all perfection comes at a price.44

Indeed, she suffered from isolationism with the rest of her family, perhaps except her aunt who (out of sympathy and had a long-time quarrel with her dad) became her guardian after her flee to New York. 45

She was an independent woman now - her mum had lost herself to endless traumatize, when she discovered Monique's dad's scars on humanity; her sister was ...... Monique lost every strand of recollection on her sister - her existence was comparable to an unknown state in a vast desert.46

At day, she is the oh-so famous editor of Page Six who select the gossips to share with the world; at night, she is the sex goddess who makes men falls on her knees. This is...simply.....the consequence of our withered rose who desperately attempted to overcome the emotional wreckage.47

There was Nick - the Italian chief at Pasta Pasta whose Hugo Boss cologne forever lingers on his sweated body. A surge of feeling come when their bodies merge - the Calvin Klein Euphoria and Hugo Boss. His thick lips covered her pale ones, constructing a rhythm of dance. It was like a relief towards her never-ending suffering. His arms tug around her thin body, as if a celestial angel saved her from her horrors. His hand would shelter her naked body from all the world's knives and stabs.48

Then there was David - the PR of an auctioning company. His sparkling blue eyes reveal all of his personality - that friendliness, that sophistication and that creativity. It was the same during their sensual experience. He would undress her as a piece of artwork, taking fabrics off after fabrics until she looked like a goddess gleaming barely in strawberry blonde shades. He would touch her breasts so tenderly and kissed every part of her like pearls. Even when he stuck his manhood under her, it would be like smooth process without pain,...even when the orgasm rocked inside her like paranoid. 49

And there was Trevor - the rough engineer.. Literally, he devoured her with his dominance, and would rip the fabrics off her. (even the Burberry trenchcoat!) He groped her breasts as if squeezing a pasta, and would always rock her inside his body without any notice - although there were too many puddles of blood on the bedsheets to be forgotten. His kisses would be of rough strife, as if they were amorous birds devouring each other until they were ripped and exhausted.50

Since when did the antique blonde beauty of ours transform into the amorous bird of devour?51

Author notes

Apologies for the much delayed update. Here is the deal, you can decide the ending (hmm..impact of reader-response theory)
POSSIBLE CHOICES:
1. Both Monique and her father died
2. Monique killed her father
3. Both live
4. Monique bounded her father by legal means e.g. life imprisonment, community service etc.
I will be waiting for your poll.

I vote that the father dies. I just think that's the least that can happen to a brute like him!

You have a really good thing going on here. I don't know why you can't seem to be able to continue it. I mena there is so much more to be said. You have described Monique's pain so vividly here, but I'd still love to know how she managed to snatch herself out of misery. I want to know how she made a success out of herself. And most of all I want to knwo if the past still lives inside of her.
I hope you keep on writing this story!
