Kissing on Swingsets: Prologue

My life took a drastic turn when I moved back home. Not only did I have to readjust to following the rules again but I had to pick up and glue the pieces of my psyche back together. He had worn out a side of my esteem and consciousness. More deeply than I had thougth; but not only that. I had to come to terms with the facts of my life. I was now single. I dropped out of university (thanks mate!) and I discovered a lot of things about myself. I cheated on a boy/man I thought I loved. And all because I loved sex- and he didn't. But did that make me a bad person? I hoped not. It took a few weeks before I was able to even look at another guy let along flirt with one. But then I broke the fast. And life picked up again. 1

It was my best friend who introduced me to the swinging scene. I had no idea that people did that kind of thing, at least not openly. Sure people cheated on one another all the time, afterall I cheated on my ex- with his best friends too. but I never considered swapping partners and playing together at a swingers party. But thats what I did. 2

I wasnt a swinger. I was called a swingle (a swinging single). I went to a club with my best friend and her fiance, just to try it, more even to hook up with a single guy, though I knoew I would be a little shy to do that yet. 3

But thats not what happened that night. That night was what started the rest of my life.
