Fireheart and Spottedleaf: The REAL story

Let's catch you up on Spottedleaf's plan. Spottedleaf is thought to be a dead ThunderClan medicine cat. But, as probably no one knows: Spottedleaf was never even a medicine cat. 1

From the moment Spottedleaf was born, she knew that she had an identical twin sister. Her sister knew that too. So one night while their mother was asleep, Spottedkit and Mallowkit-the twin sisters-2

traded places. Mallowkit was Spottedkit, and Spottedkit was Mallowkit. Soon, StarClan knows why, the sisters forgot they weren't their sister. Spottedkit (who we all know was really Mallowkit who forgot that she was really Mallowkit) became Spottedpaw, and Mallowkit (who, again, was really Spottedkit but just forgot) became Mallowpaw.3

The two surviving sisters of their litter of five (the other three died of greencough) went on to get their warrior names, except Spottedleaf was a medicine cat but wasn't really Spottedleaf. Mallowstripe, was soon exiled from ThunderClan secretly by her denmates, who hated her for no reason, and Mallowstripe was said to be killed and carried away by a fox mysteriously one greenleaf night.4

Soon, Mallowstripe met Rusty, who to this day is Firestar, so he doesn't remember any of this. Mallowstripe became a kittypet and was renamed by Rusty's owners Scarlett. Eventually, Scarlett and Rusty mated, and three healthy kits were born: Minnie, Holly, and Dopey.5

Minnie, Holly and Dopey died along with their mother because of a fatal reaction to the medication a veterinarian gave them. Rusty was fine, except for the agony of losing his kits and mate.6

That is the REAL story of Fireheart and Spottedleaf.
