"We have got to get boyfriends." replied a raven haired girl. 5

"Yeah." agreed a girl with pink bubble gum colored hair. 7

"But, everyone's taken." said a black haired and fair faced girl. 9

Saphire, Yumi, and Aelita were 3 friends, Yumi Ishiyama was the raven haired girl, Aelita Schaeffur was the girl with the pink bubble gum colored hair, and her cousin was Saphire Stonez, the black haired and the fair faced girl. They were all single and in search of the perfect boy. Little did they know that a boy was gonna come into their lives and turn it upside down. They saw a boy with brunette hair come up to them. 11

"Hi, Ulrich." replied Yumi. 13

Everyone knew that Ulrich had a crush on Yumi, well that is everyone except Yumi. Whenever the girls mentioned it, Yumi would think they were crazy and would just simply say that he was just a good friend. 15

"Hey girls." he greeted, smiling brightly at Yumi. 17

"Where's Jeremie?" asked Aelita. 19

"You know how he is, he's finishing his extra credit project." replied Ulrich. 21

Jeremie and Ulrich have known the girls since they were young and been best friends since. Some people think that it's weird that the girls are friends with boys and not boyfriend/ girlfriend. Like for instance, Sissi, she's the principal's daughter and one of the most popular girls at Kadic Junior High. Ulrich sat down on the bench where the girls were seated staring at the sky. They talked about random things until Jeremie came, they talked some more and soon departed for their rooms. 23

It was a new day and Yumi was in her homeroom. The teacher looked up from her desk, when she heard the prinicpal's voice from the door. He came up to the front of the room, with a boy with blue and black hair. After talking to the teacher for a while, the Mr. Delmas exited the room. 28

"Students, we have a new boy in our class today." replied Ms. Alner, motioning to the boy. 30

"Hi, my name is William Dunbar." the boy replied, not even nervous or shy. 32

"Well, you may take a seat next to Yumi." said Ms. Alner, gesturing to Yumi. 34

Yumi was watching William and thought he was really cute, when she heard what the teacher said, her eyes lit up. 36

He smiled when he saw Yumi and walked over to his desk. 38

"Hi." he said. 40

"Hi." Yumi replied back. 42

While Yumi was going to lunch, she almost ran into William, Yumi's a year older than Saphire and Aelita, so she doesn't see them until lunch. 44

"Sorry." William said. 46

"It's ok." Yumi replied, smiling. 48

"That's a pretty name, Yumi." he commented. 50

"Thanks." Yumi said, blushing slightly. 52

"I guess the name fits." he continued. 54

"What do you mean?" Yumi asked, confused. 56

"It means beautiful in Japanese, right?" he asked. 58

"Yeah." Yumi replied. 60

"Well, you are beautiful." he said, making Yumi blush deeper. 62

Yumi was about to say something, but her phone rang, before she could. 64

"Hello?" she asked. 66

"Yumes, where are you?" asked Saphire. 68

"I'm almost at the lunchroom." she replied. 70

"Well, hurry up. 'Cause someone's getting anxious to see you. " replied Saphire, before hanging up giggling. 72

She rolled her eyes and said to William, "Um, I gotta go." 74

She rushed into the lunchroom and over to her friends.76
