The Basketball Game

The long basketball court was filled with people yelling friendly advice or warnings. The two team captains were shouting everything they knew to their teams.1

"Go!" the teacher shouted. He thrust the ball into the air, and the Red Team caught it. The Red captain dribbled to the hoop and he shot. It went through- a hit! The black team responded by slamming the ball in dribbling. A Red player smacked the ball and the Red captain shot again. A hit!2

A Black player dribbled to the hoop and shot. Missed! He caught it and threw it again. Score! The Red captain got hold of the ball and double-dribbled, giving the Black team a free shot. It was caught by a sporty Red girl and she shot the Red winning shot.
