"Calli?" Calli asked herself when she looked at her beautiful reflection in the mirror. She could hardly believe how she had matured. How her previously awkward facial structure had shaped into something beautiful. Something a lot of other girls, or women for that matter envied.1
She had long, light blonde hair. She had a large fringe which often fell infront of her beautiful eyes. Previously, it would have been brushed away with ugly, bitten and bloody nails. But the habit she had had ever since she was a child had slowly disappeared until it was gone and she was left with long, beautiful nails.2
Her previously bad skin had become pale and flawless. Her full lips no longer over powered the rest of her face and were the same shade of beautiful red they always naturally had been.3
Her deep blue eyes were like storms. They were almost grey. They were hauntingly beautiful. That's what she was as a whole. Hauntingly beautiful.4
Shee had a small, delicate figure, skinny but not freakishly skinny. She was just below average height. She wore colours of mostly dark shades. She was not often seen in perky yellows or pinks and rarely seen in blues or greens.5
She had beautiful long legs but oftenly kept them hidden behind dark, tight jeans. She mostly wore t-shirts or jumpers. Not comfortable showing off much skin as of yet.6
Calli looked about the age of sixteen, or so she had been told. It came to great shock when Calli explained she had only just hit the age of fourteen.7
She was very mature for her age and was often seen with people of older ages rather then other fourteen year old girls.8
She was confident yet shy. When with people Calli was comfortable with, she would become the center of the conversations and there would never be a dull moment while she was around. She brought the life out even the most shyest people. Until she was people she didn't know.9
She immediatly blocked everyone off and lost all her confidence. She no longer had the ability to talk or even look around. So she just sat awkwardly. It was something she hated about herself and something she had tried many of times to change but it never quite seemed to work.10
Thankfully for her, it was easy to make friends so they awkward shyness soon vanished and it was back to the confident fun Calli.11
Although Calli seemed virtually perfect, she was actually not. Everyday she sucked dirty cigarette smoke past her perfect lips and teeth and into her tar infested lungs.12
Everyweekend and occasionally school nights she would swallow endless amounts of alcohol of any kind. It didn't matter what it was. Calli would drink it. She liked herself better drunk, well, the bits she could remember. She found herself talking to people she didn't know and even dancing.13
The last of her bad habits was socially known as the worst or 'most badass'. Drugs. She was frequently stoned or high and had needle many needle marks from all the shooting up. She loved the feeling and she was addicted. Many of times had boyfriend or friends tried to stop her, but they couldn't. She had tried to stop but she lacked the self control.14
Her parents knew about all of these things. They did care, they cared a lot that they academically and physically perfect was throwing her life away. But they were powerless to do anything about it. They couldn't ground Calli. She would just sneak out. They couldn't take away her allowance because she had always had a large stash of money saved. They couldn't do anything. Calli began smoking inside the house, drinking inside the house, sometimes even shooting up inside the house. Her parents preffered it that way most of the time. They preffered she be safe at home rather then out on the streets. They were good parents.15
No one knew how or why Calli got into any of those habits. No one in her family were ever adicts of any kind. They never had financle issues and they rarely fought. Her parents were divorced and her life as a younger child had been perfect.16
Although her parents were clueless, her friends had some kind of idea. She got into drinking and smoking at the age of thirteen, after Christmas break. After Nate Kerry. She had only got into drugs in the last six months, but she had become easily addicted.17
Nate Terry was someone only a few of Calli's friends had met. Her was utterly perfect in ever single way. He was tall with chin length black hair. He was almost as pale as Calli and was very attractive. He was two years older then Calli. When they met, Calli was thirteen and Nate was fifteen. They instantly clicked. They were both smart and found it easy to have long conversations about virtually anything. But Nate was also into all the bad habits.18
Nate had come to town with his parents for unknown reasons. He left, two months later for other unknown reasons and since that part of time, Calli went 'off the rails'.19
Nate had sworn they would be together again, for they were ofcourse, star crossed lovers, soul mates, meant to be. Everyone who saw them knew it instantly. 20
They say everyone has a soulmate, someone made for them. Nate had been made without a soul mate at first, they had forgot his soul mate. Until they remembered, two years later and Calli was brought to this Earth. Eleven years, nine months and twenty seven days later, Calli and Nate met.21
Calli had gone for her usual forest walk. It had been raining, a lot. Calli loved the rain so she often went for long walks. While walking, Calli began hearing unfamiliar noises. She froze until the culpret for the noises came forward. Nate.22
As she turned to look at him, it was like the world around them had stopped and it was just them. They knew it was meant to be. From then on, they were inseprable. Until Nate's parent's seperated them. It was a sudden move. Nate barely found the time to tell Calli before he left. She was heartbroken, so was he.23
But that was it. He was gone. So was she. She was obviously still there, still around, but not in soul. The happy, confident her left with Nate and only returned with cigarette smoke, alcohol and drugs.
