The Boy I Sat Behind In 11th Grade Writing

I'm not really sure where he came from, or why i even chose to write about him but there was always something about the boy i sat behind in 11th grade writing. He had bright blue eyes but i never knew his name. He was so popular out there but in here, you could see he was uninterested in the atmosphere. I guess he just a writer like me. He'd sit in class and just stare off. I'd always wonder what he was thinking about but i could never tell by the look on his face. I never knew what he did on the weekends and i probably never would. We had never said a word to each other and the extent of our acquaintanceship would be an occasional awkward glance at each other. But still, it didn't matter to me because he looked like such a dreamer. He was quiet, but you could see he was always thinking. He never passed in an assignment, but he did help me with a story i wrote once. I was so happy and proud to have his name displayed on my story when he didn't even have one himself.1

But, since then, the leaves have changed and so have i but i still sometimes think about that boy and occasionally wonder if he still remembers me.2

AWWW! I love that about class. When I'm supposed to be paying attention, I end up wondering what my classmates are really like. And, like this boy you speak of, there are a lot more dreamers out there than we will EVER know or guess. This write is quite charming. I hope a lot of people read it. Have you thought about featuring? That'd be awesome. I think poets do this a lot. I think they like to observe people and places until they can find poetry in them. Writers like you don't even have to look very hard...it just comes naturally, doesn't it? Well, this was EXCELLENT WORK! Thanks for telling me about it! Take care and keep on writing because I really like your style and I think others will, too!
