The adventures of Skyler and Wedge part 1

It was midnight I was standing downtown in Posen Michigan a little bit of light shown through some of the windows witch showed me people were awake Wedge and I stood in the street with our swords drawn ready to fight the oncoming army of creatures. Wedge was tall for his age with pitch black hair covering his face He barely ever talked. Soon all the light’s in the houses went out and we could make out several small silhouettes in the distance.1

Five years earlier2

I stood on the curb waiting for the school bus. I had heard there was a new kid in school and he was supposed to get on at my stop. I saw a small kid with his hair cut above his forehead he walked toward me and said “hi I’m Jeremy most people call me wedge I just moved here from California my parents got transferred here for business”. “Hi I’m Skyler” I replied 3

Five years later4

“I’ll get the ones to the right you get the left” I yelled to wedge he nodded in response. “Who will get the middle” he yelled “they will be dealt with afterwards” I called back I was already running he was not far behind well we will never get there at this pace. He snapped his fingers and there was a bright light and he was four feet in front of me “that never gets old” I thought to myself when we reached them wedge was the first to get into the battle with his long blade ready to strike I ran in after him we stood back to back and slashed at every one of them finally the battle was over “it took us over and hour to destroy those last ones” I panted “yeah” he said “he did that without breaking a sweat” I thought then there was flash of light and a figure with a white mask and dark cloak appeared in front of us we drew our weapons “no need for that you two” the masked figure said “I am here to warn you those creatures were not the last ones of there kind there are more many more and before you two….children rush into battle again like that I suggest you use these” the man handed me a sword “wow NOT dull” I said sarcastically and he handed wedge a small bottle with a mysterious liquid in it “what is this and how do I use it” he asked “ you will know how to use it when the time comes” then he disappeared And all was silent 5
