Vincent, Jason and I were standing in Garnet's dorm, talking amongst ourselves. As for Garnet herself, she was showering her pretty little self. 'She's probably going to 'accidentallly' walk out naked,' I thought with a long, quiet sigh. 'That slut.'1
"So, about this Nadya chick," Jason suddenly said, "She's a mage, right?"2
"From what I heard," I nodded.3
"And she's on our side? Not Nemis'?"4
"No...why?"5
"That's a good thing," he smiled, "Mages are really powerful, and can either heal you to full health quickly, or turn you to ashes in less than a second."6
"Hm," I scratched my chin thoughtfully, "Wonder if she'll do that to him."7
"Unfortunately," Vincent spoke for the first time since we entered the room, which made us turn, "That's your job. Remember," he said with a grin, "Miss Electus Unus?"8
I scoffed, "You talk like I wanted this...this..."9
"Job?" Jason suggested.10
"Task. This hereculan task."11
"Well, too bad you're not Hercules, then," Vincent sighed both dramatically and teasingly, "Now the world will fall into utter chaos and destructiion, leaving a large, empty void in the universe, with all humanity wiped out from history, and just all because you weren't up to saving it."12
By that time I was flushed with anger, "I never said I was giving up or not up to it!" I snapped, "Besides, using the guilt trick like that? You really suck!"13
"At least I don't blow," he mumbled.14
"What was that?"15
"Oh, nothing, dear Torren," he flashed a clearly fake smile.16
"Hey, Vince!" Garnet called out in a sing-song voice from behind the door. His cheesy smile faded and was replaced with a groan, "Could you come in here? I need someone to scrub my back!" her voice had a flirtatious ring in it.17
"Sucker," I smirked when I saw his blushing face, and waved him off,"Go on. Go to your beloved's bare back."18
"I hate you," Vincent grumbled, and then called out back to Garnet, "Get Torren or your brother to do it. I'm sure either of them would love to!"19
"Never mind!" she said quickly, "I got it!"20
"My God," Jason shook his head slowly.21
"Is she always like this?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.22
"Only around guys," he answered, "Dammit, she's going to end up regretting flirting with every single guy she meets."23
"I bet."24
It was then when Garnet walked out. She was in a low V-neck shirt with elegant hearts all over it. She also had on a short cut-off skirt with black knee-high boots. With heels. Her makeup was put on professionally, especially around the lips, making them a dark cherry color. 'Again,' I thought, groaning, 'Slut number one.'25
"Hey Vince," she smiled cheerfully and walked over to Vincent. She daintly put her elegant index finger on his chest, her long red nail poking him. She then asked in a soft, quiet voice, "What do you think?"26
"Uh..." Vincent looked away, his usually colorless face now a burning red.27
"Do you like it?"28
"It's...nice, I guess," he bit his lip uncomfortably, but couldn't look away.29
"How about we have my brother and...her leave?"30
I clenched my fists together, "Alright, enough's enough!" I started pushing Vincent out of the room, "If you want to have sex, find someone else!"
