"Come on May." I whined. "Just a hi or something." I added desperately wanting to hear her voice.1
"What? You two fighting or something?" Jen asked as she walked over to the tree, with a plate of sweet and sour pork.2
"Kinda." I said to her then to May. "Come on baby I'm sorry?"
Silence.3
"How about just a kiss? Only one?" I begged with the puppy dog face. And she turned away.4
"Aww baby... how can you do this to me!?" I said half joking around. And I saw her try to hide a grin. Bingo!5
Again I made a puppy dog face then said,"I love you baby,Talky to meeeeee." I said mocking a baby's voice. And she burst out laughing.6
"Heh heh." I said in victory.7
"Dumb
" She laughed swatting my arm. " I'm supposed to be mad at you."8"Oh, shut up. You know you can't resist me." I joked.9
"Dork." She said and I quickly pulled her in for a hug and a peck on the cheek.10
"Eww! Get a room!" Jen teased.11
"OH be quiet." We said in unison.12
"Fine, Oh but wait have you heard about the pride parade coming up?"13
"What? When? Where?" May and I asked.14
Jen shrugged. "Matter of fact I don't know. Just felt like saying it."15
Mays brows drew together, "Idiot." She laughed.16
"Yea,but if there really was one though, would you go?"17
"Most deff." May replied.18
"Eh. I don't have gas money though." I said.19
"That's your own fault." Jen replied.20
"Hey I can't help it if I wanna spoil my only love."21
"Aww babe." May sighed.22
Jen pretended to puke. Ignoring her I gave May a quick but loving kiss as a cold breeze past us by. May let out a shiver. Summer has already ended and the fall weather has finally arrived. I removed my hoodie and helped May get it on. I quickly pulled the hood up to hide May as two girls walked by. Each giving me dirty looks as they passed.23
'Stupid
s' I thought to myself as I held May closer to me.24Through the corner of my eyes I saw Jen shiver too. I let out a sigh. "You know You should dress warmer instead of sexy." I said and tossed her the sweater I had under my Hoodie. Leaving me in a sweatshirt.25
"Thanks." She said as she inspected the sweater.26
'Checking for rainbows I guess.' i thought to myself.27
I remember when we first met she was the straight chick. We were with some friends at a street race. It was cold out so I lent her my jacket. Little did she know, my jacket had the GSA flag on the back. So she put it on.She got hit on by all the gay chicks there that night. Just thinking about that made me laugh out loud.
When I stopped I saw that they were both looking at me funny.28
"What!?" I said defensively. "I'm not on drugs OK?"29
"Uh huh sure you aren't." Jen said. And May giggled.30
"Honest I was just thinking."31
"About?" Jen questioned.32
"That time out at the street race when I...."33
"Don't you dare tell that story!" She shouted cutting me off.
May gave us both questioning looks.
