M & M's

There once was a little blue M&M. This M&M was different from all the other M&M's, it had no chocolate to fill its lovely sugar coating, and this made the M&M feel very sad. An M&M without chocolate was unwanted, uncalled for, and under appreciated. Worst of all, no one would ever get to eat her, she would probably be thrown into the rejects pile on her way out of the factory.

Or perhaps, some thought, that maybe she did have a chocolate inside, but her outside was so slick and blue that it was hard to tell. No one had really ever looked. The M&M didn't know, how could she have? She was only a simple M&M, nothing more.

This M&M was so very lonely though. She was all alone, and there seemed to be nothing inside that she could look to for comfort. No warm chocolate filling to brighten her days and make her wanted. Some how she was always alone. It didn't matter where she was, or how many names she knew. She was just a lonely little M&M.

Then one day, a friend came. He promised to help this poor little M&M find her chocolate. He said, "one can do anything, if one simply puts ones mind to it!" and so, they did just that. They chipped away at her shell until they found it. A rich chocolate middle.

Now she was missing a part of her shell, but at least she had chocolate to show everyone. She wasn't as beautiful anymore, or as sweet looking, but she had chocolate. And she was happy.
