Gentle - No matter how upset he was with a situation, I'd never hear him speak harshly towards me. He was the kind and gentle father every child deserves.2
Intelligent - He was one of the smartest men I'd ever known, despite his mistakes. He knew how to solve a algebraic expression, what made us physically tick, and how to make his daughter smile.3
Comical - He's the only man I ever knew who could take a list of farm animals and mix it all together just to rename a pet cat. He always knew how to get the room laughing.4
Warm - Despite all of the mistakes he made and all the lies people painted, he was always kind. He always forgave, even when he didn't have to. He always loved, even if you didn't love him. He was a good man.
Author notes
So I chose these words for my father, who passed away in 2003, my sixth grade year.
He, my mother, and I all lived together until I was two years old and he was sent to jail due to certain circumstances. After that, I never really saw him much.
The memory of him is vague, but from what I do remember I can tell he was a good man. He was a loving father to both me and my brother the short spans of time he was with either of us. I regret not being able to get to know him more, but even if I don't remember a whole lot, I do know that I loved him dearly.

Good words here and sentimental. I can relate also in ways- won't go in depth, but I can relate with the loss- sorry for yours. Overall, a very heartfelt and sweet entry. Thank you very much for sharing
