The Hard Way

I believe there are things the world aren't suppose to know: The meaning of life, life after death, aliens, etc...1

However, you will never make me believe what happen to my family was one of those unavoidable, unalterable, life problems.2

You will never be able to tell me what happened was a smart thing to do.3

It's ironic that the person who started it all was named, Destiny. She's my big sister, and a big pain right now. 4

It all started when she began to dated this guy named Tony. Tony at first was: motivated, friendly, and kind to Destiny-which is all we need to like the boy. But as their relationship continued, we began to notice certain thing about him that weren't right. He never wanted to come to our house to see her(He lives two hours away in a different state), he broke up with her at Christmas so he wouldn't be obligated to get her a gift, Tony used to be in a gang member, a he used to be a drug dealer. 5

Believe me, we weren't at all please when Destiny told us about his colorful past. I remember staring at her like she was retarded. I told her it really worried me that if something upset him he might kill her or us, but she waved it off saying it was a rediculess. 6

After two break-ups-both of which, HE broke up with her, once for not saying bye to his family-they decided to do the start doing the deed. Shortly after, she got pregnant. 3-weeks later, she miscarried, she was devastated but she felt worse for Tony because 'he always wanted a baby', he thought he couldn't have one-meaning he had tried.7

After several months of dating, Destiny decided at the age of 26 she was going to move in with Tony in South Carolina. And incase you didn't know Tony, age 37, lives with his big brother and his brothers wife, he's lived with them for over 5 years, and now he's moving his girlfriend in. I'm sure his brother was ticked.8

My mother tried to reason with her, Mom was mad and frustrated, and she even cried. Mom knew she was going into this thing the hard way. Our mother always told me and my sister that if you have to give everything up for a guy, then relationship isn't going to work. But Destiny had a steely determination, so we had no choice but to suck it up and take it.9
