Public High School

You want a rant? Heres a rant. It's a rant about public high school. You got it, I am one of 'them'(those moany, pessimistic children). 1

Generalizations. Half the public high school population doesn't even know what that means. I wonder why? Oh, yeah, because baffled is our vocabulary word of the YEAR. I wonder why so many kids come down with uncurable illnesses? is it because the LEAK in the ROOF infested their lunch food? No, it's just because the lunch food is the left overs from a salvation army brigade last month. Want to donate to the needy? How about donating your used paper to your local english class because we are writing on the backs of peoples progress reports. 2

"Oh, poor Jim Roberts is failing physics with a twenty-two. I wonder why thats happening. It may be because we were doing a blood lab and we were so poor we had to reuse the needles and he got aids and died. Unfortunately, he was not able to do his classwork which is oh-so-important. This is because nobody has invented a successful teleporter (maybe we would be ABLE to if we had the education) so it had to go into the gradebook as a zero. 3

Poor Jim. He won't ever make it to college. 4

Maybe if the teachers actually taught we would all grow up to be smart children. You want to know how many crosswords I have gotten through this week? Seventeen not including the 'springtime fun' one. Someone forgot to remind them or whatever idiot decides to entertain us with this sub-par activity its the beginning of November. I doubt they even care. 5

All I really ask at this point is a sharp, number two pencil to gouge my eyes out with, but, to my dismay that cannot occur either. The pencil sharpener is shot so I guess I'm going to have to go with the painful way out. 6

Another three long years.

    A great ran but, you need to check the SPaGs, for typos and not putting the (') where it belongs and this is turning into a rant...so I will let you get back to it....the wriitng I mean.

    I like the way you write, but not that you ignore the SPaGs, come on you're a good writer and can do better.

    This is a good, entertaining rant that some people would agree with but i'm afraid i don't coz i like my high school...hehe. Just make sure that you check that every sentence after a full stop starts with a capital letter because some of them don't. Apart from that, good job! A nice, agressive rant.
