House On The Left1
I sat on the love seat in the living room of the Smith’s home, as Alice was in the kitchen helping her mother make loads of popcorn. Alexander and Alexis, Alice’s little twin brother and sister was enjoy a very weird game of twister. Weird in the sense that they make up their own rules. It was hard to play any game with these two. They lived in their own little world and it was hard to follow when you had no idea what the hell they were talking about. 2
“So, Keera,” Mrs. Smith began as her, and Alice, walked back into the living room. “Alice tells me you have a date later tonight?” I glared over at Alice as she took a seat next to me.3
We had been arguing over this since school let out. She wanted me to go and I didn’t think I should. 4
“Um, no Mrs. S, those plans are no longer actually plans.” I stated. She seemed to frown at me. 5
“Well, that’s a shame. That McAvry boy is such a nice kid.” She replied. 6
“A lot more suitable for you than that Lucca kid.” Alice’s father stated. I looked over at Alice. 7
“Do you have to tell them everything?” I whispered to her. She shrugged with an apologetic look. 8
They started the movie as Alice made her little brother and sister sit down. It was a simple family movie. I think it might have been Sky High or Spy Kids. I’m not sure because I wasn’t really paying it any attention. 9
“I still think you should go!” Alice leaned over and whispered in my ear. 10
“You haven’t given me a good enough reason to do that.” 11
“Because he seems real and you should totally not let this bet ruin what could possible be a really good friendship.” She replied. “Besides, I’m tired of hanging out with Jeremy and his douche bag friends.” She whined slightly. I smiled at her. 12
“So, let me get this straight, you want me to whore myself out to Blake so you won’t have to hang out with Jeremy and his friends anymore?” I questioned. 13
“Well, if you win the bet then he won’t bother you anymore, which means he won’t get on my nerves anymore.” I laughed lightly. 14
“I just… I like Blake, you know. He seems like a nice guy, but he’s got some issues and I don’t want to get too deep on that and then him find out it was all a bet. I don’t want to hurt him like that. He’s right, he shouldn’t trust me.” I replied. Alice rolled her eyes at me. 15
“So, tell him what’s going on. Maybe he’ll be all for helping you get Jeremy off your back.” She offered. 16
“Yeah, and maybe he won’t ever talk to me again.” 17
“Do you really want to sit here with my family all night?” She asked me. I sighed. 18
I looked up at the clock hanging on the wall. 8:42. Maybe I should go… Just to hear him out. I thought to myself. I bit down on my lip roughly and heard a soft snicker from Alice. 19
“You know you want to go!” 20
“I don’t even know where he lives…” I stated. She gave me a surprised look. 21
“Really, everyone knows Blake’s house.” She was laughing at me and I didn’t quite like it much. 22
“Well I don’t!” I replied. 23
“He lives in The Village, the mansion at the end of the road… I think it’s on the left. You can’t miss it. It sticks out like a sour thumb.” 24
I looked up at the clock again. 8:50. I sighed. 25
“Fine!” I stated. Alice’s look of satisfaction brought a frown to my face. I wasn’t sure why she wanted me to get to know Blake so much. 26
I grabbed my things and said goodbye to everyone before retreating to my car. I sat for a long moment arguing with myself. I really didn’t want to get too far into Blake, but I didn’t want to hurt his feelings by not showing up either. I let my head thud against the steering wheel as I cursed myself. 27
Bitch up, Keera, what could it hurt? 28
I turned the ignition and began down the road. A few miles outside Alice’s neighborhood was the entrance to the gated community of The Village. A place where wealthy families lived and called home. My parents and I used to live in one much like this, until my mother decided that she couldn’t handle living in a neighborhood of snobs and double crossing friends. Her excuse was that since I was an only child and they were hardly home, there was no need for such a big house. Truth was, my father had an affair with a lot of the ‘stepford wives’ in the area and she wanted him as far away from them as possible. So, we moved into a small quiet area much like Alice’s. 29
As I pulled up to the gate, the security guard stopped me. 30
“Name?” He asked me coldly. It was more than obviously this wasn’t his dream job. 31
“Keera Walker… um, I’m here to see…” 32
“Go on in.” the guy cut me off and I heard a loud buzzing noise as the gate began to open. I frowned at his rudeness, and drove through the opening. As I ventured down the streets I began to miss my old house. Its sounds completely shallow and materialistic of me, but I missed having a bedroom the size of an average sized loft apartment. I sighed in sadness as I drove past many houses that resembled the one I used to live in. 33
That was, until I saw Blake’s. Alice was right. You couldn’t miss it.34
I knew Blake was rich, much like most of the kids who went to the private school we went too, but this was ridiculous.35

Okay, somehow I didn't picture Blake as the rich-kid type, but maybe I missed something. Why wouldn't she want to be with a good looking rich kid, oh wait so is jeremy right? okay, maybe personaity does matter to her. but I ramble. good to see that she went. There's a few things that need to be edited.
P1 Alex and Alexis were enjoying not was enjoy
P13 You question,
P 14 alice speaks, but you laugh lightly, only tag in the Paragraph, so it blurs the fact that Alice said the words. Best drop the laugh line to the next Paragraph.
But aside from these and possibly another, minor bleamishes, a good chapter to move things along.
