Stop Child Abuse

This is an old poem I wrote back in the 2nd grade...2

(BTW MY NAME ISN'T SARAH, IT IS AARON)3

(NO IDEA WHY I WROTE IT ACTUALLY)4

My name is Sarah I am but three, 5

My eyes are swollen I cannot see, 6

I must be stupid I must be bad, 7

What else could have made My daddy so mad? 8

I wish I were better I wish I weren't ugly, 9

Then maybe my mommy Would still want to hug me. 10

I can't speak at all I can't do a wrong 11

Or else I'm locked up All the day long 12

When I awake I'm all alone 13

The house is dark My folks aren't home. 14

When my mommy does come I'll try and be nice, 15

So maybe I'll get just One whipping tonight 16

Don't make a sound! I just heard a car 17

My daddy is back From Charlie's Bar. 18

I hear him curse My name he calls 19

I press myself Against the wall. 20

I try and hide From his evil eyes 21

I'm so afraid now I'm starting to cry. 22

He finds me weeping He shouts ugly words, 23

He says its my fault That he suffers at work. 24

He slaps me and hits me And yells at me more,25

I finally get free And I run for the door. 26

He's already locked it And I start to bawl, 27

He takes me and throws me Against the hard wall. 28

I fall to the floor With my bones nearly broken, 29

And my daddy continues With more bad words spoken. 30

"I'm sorry!", I scream But its now much too late 31

His face has been twisted Into unimaginable hate. 32

The hurt and the pain Again and again 33

Oh please God, have mercy! Oh please let it end! 34

And he finally stops And heads for the door, 35

While I lay there motionless Sprawled on the floor. 36

My name is Sarah And I am but three, 37

Tonight my daddy Murdered me.

    I'm afraid I must agree with easily amused. This poem has been on so many websites saying "author unknown" that it limits your credibility. In fact, it's even on my profile, with the same label : author unknown.

    Plagiarism is an ugly, ugly thing. Be wary about this in the future as it is also a crime, punishable by fines and jail time. You don't want that kind of reputation.

      Plagiarism and Reasons As To Copying

      Plagiarism is only when the author says it is, if I were to be arrested, the police would HAVE to have EVIDENCE.

      Besides, I KNEW someone would say that!
      Why in the heck would I write this? I wanted to see how long it would take for ppl to notice.

    I`ve acctually seen this on like 200 different websites. How do I know you wrote this? A lot of people claim to be the author. I`m sorry but I have to DQ you.
