Burn for my father.

She sat at the kitchen table trying to talk herself out of this. There was no hope; she was a going to die. She picked up the photo of her family at a Christmas party. She stroked the photo where her dad stood hugging her mother, tears was rolling down her pale face as she turned and looked at the empty alcohol bottle she had just drunk. She shook her head and stood up; she was feeling dizzy as she knew death was close to getting her. The music payer was in the corner of the room she sang along with the words:1

So watch my chest heave
As this last breath leaves me....
2

She moved herself gently from side to side, her legs started to shake as she looked at the clock. Almost midnight. Perfect. She grabbed a pen and a pale pink piece of paper and sat back at the wooden kitchen table. Her hands twitched and she smiled, everything was about to be in the open. 3

Dearest mother, 4

I won’t be here when you shall be reading this. And that is why I am writing this, I guess I have to say goodbye. 5

Dad’s death was no murder, it was me, the police are getting close to finding out it was me and I am scared to say the least. 6

I don’t know why I did it; you know I was going through a rough patch. He wound me up so bad ... I just grabbed the first thing that I could and I struck him with it. 7

You know me, I get scared easily, and knowing you just committed a murder on someone is beyond scary. I should now know. 8

He was just lifeless ... on the floor ... it was like he had drowned in his own blood. 9

I burned him and the house, I ran. That was all I could think of doing. I heard him scream though, dad was alive! I ran faster ... I could have saved him ... but I didn’t. All the evidence would be burnt and his flesh would have left no evidence of my attack. It was the perfect way out. 10

I loved dad, I know he is in heaven for sure.11

I however shall be in hell when you are reading this. 12

At midnight I shall die as close to the same why for him. 13

Forever an innocent girl
Lola. X 14

She looked at the last words ‘I however shall be in hell when you are reading this.’ And cried. She stood up abruptly “Screw this!” she grabbed what was left of the alcohol and poured it over the table, she screamed when it was empty and threw the bottle on the floor. The glass shattered and broke into little pieces. Her bare feet stood walked over the glass, it pierced her feet but she didn’t care. She winced with every step she took. The thing that kept her from screaming is the fact that soon everything shall be over. 15

She grabbed the petrol and made a trail from the kitchen to the middle of the living room where a chair stood. She poured the last bits on the chair and dropped the petrol can on the floor. She walked to the window “Goodbye curl world” she turned the music up as the song was on repeat. She now sung the lyrics 16

Let it all burn
I will burn fast.....
17

She garbed an envelope and shouted as she stepped over the glass agin to grab the letter. She sealed it with a kiss and pushed it out the front door so it could lay on the entrance to the porch. 18

This was it.
The clock let her know it was midnight. She smiled at looked at her white dress and her bloody feet. She went back into the kitchen for the last time.
She grabbed her lighter and lit a candle. She watched the flame flicker and grow as the smell of the petrol fumes was building in the air. She threw it at the corner of the room. It hit a cupboard and it burst into flames. She laughed as she felt so much power. 19

She stood in the doorway and watch the room turn to orange and red. Her skin returning to a normal colour with the heat. She laughed as she ran into the living room and stood on the chair. She now sung with the lyrics 20

With this blood on my hands
In this blood I am dammed
So watch my wings burn
As they burn in the fire
Don’t scatter the ashes
No need for the choir....
21

She put her head into the noose and watched as the fire was making its way through the kitchen and almost at the petrol line. She kicked the chair from under her and felt the rope close tightly around her neck. She struggled to laugh and the lyrics where in perfect time 22

Burn
NOW!
Burn 23

Just let me burn
NOW!
Burn 24

Burn!

*open sob* Lilly Angel you had me sobbing my eyes out at this; a close friend of mine committed suicide by burning herself...but it's well written, I could tell you'd been inspired by a song.

Poor poor girl. And yes, people should live in your stories once in a while. But good work as always.
