… Of course the Grangers did not remember Dumbledore’s and McGonagall’s visit…2
“What do you think causes the pain, doctor?” asked Mr. Granger. 3
Hermione’s parents have noticed the abnormal and strange reaction of their daughter whenever the mole was touched. The little girl was screaming and crying as though the mole was an open wound…4
“There is nothing to worry about,” the doctor said while examining Hermione’s forehand. “It is just an oversensitive mole. Of course I have never met any in my life but I heard of some cases…”5
Mr. and Mrs. Granger were satisfied with the doctor’s conclusion but their satisfaction did not last. They started to observe something different in Hermione’s behavior: she was extremely smart for a little baby – already speaking and reading a lot of different words… 6

“Ooooo! What a cute little girl!” a woman said glancing at Hermione in the park. “What is your name?”8
“Hermione,” she answered.9
“Ooooo! What a beautiful name!!!” the woman exclaimed. “How old are you?!”10
“Two and a half years.”11
“Ooooo! And what are you doing with all these books honey?” the woman inquired looking at the four fat books in Hermione’s hands.12
“I read them.”13
“You?” the woman smiled and pulled one book out of Hermione’s hug. “Little Women? You can’t read this book. It is for…”14
“…Adults?” Hermione interrupted, angrily snatching the book back. The greatest insult in Hermione’s life was to be called ‘stupid’. “Sometimes babies are much smarter than you think.” And she walked away hugging the books.15

When Hermione was ten she received a letter from a school called Hogwarts. Unlike herself, her parents were amazed by the letter which seemed a total nonsense.17
“This can’t be a joke, can it?” wondered Mr. Granger, reading the letter over and over.18
“I don’t have an idea,” said Mrs. Granger. “But there is something strange… I remember something… a dream I guess…”19
“A dream? What about?” Mr. Granger asked not taking his eyes off the letter.20
“I don’t remember,” lied Mrs. Granger. She remembered exactly what happened but she was not sure if it was a dream or a reality. 21

Since the letter arrived Hermione have read a lot of books about Hogwarts, witches and wizards.23
In the train (on the way to Hogwarts) Hermione met two boys one of which was Harry Potter. She approached his name many times in the books she had read but in reality she found him very different. She thought that he was impolite…24
When the sorting hat was put on her head it said, “You must be in Slytherin… But your heart and your soul do not belong there. Very strange… The abilities and the soul are so different…GRYFFINDOR!”25

All teachers were amazed by Hermione’s abilities. Her hand was the first, and sometimes the only, to raise up when a question was asked. But it was very different at Snape’s lessons…27
Once he saw her he recognized that face. He remembered something that happened many years ago… something he wanted to forget. He was not able to look into her eyes. When he was asking questions, Hermione never was the one to be chosen. He just did not want to hear her voice. He was afraid he’d hear the same voice… “Please... Help me…”28

Wanna add to your disclaimer that Queen Maab wrote the first chapter of the fan-fic?
A couple of things to think upon. You've stated that she received her Hogwarts letter at the age of ten; well in the canon witches and wizards receive their invites at age 11. Hermione's birthday is near the end of September which explains why she has had so much time to research Hogwarts. She's probably the oldest in her class, since she couldn't begin her Hogwarts education on the first of September (not yet being 11)
Also; remember that the sorting hat also considered her for Ravenclaw in the canon.
I love what you've done so far. I can't wait for the next installment. The final paragraph is definately my favourite.
