Child Of The Train Track part.1

'Are you ready?'1

'Yes. I just need to get my keys.'2

'Ok. Good luck, I know you can do it.'3

'Thanks mum. I promise to do my best.'4

'Say goodbye to Michelle before you go, she's alseep'5

'I will'6

'Well, I won't keep you, good luck.'7

'You've said that already.'8

'Oh, haha, so I have. I'm just nervous for you'9

'I'll be fine, it's not like I'm gonna die or anything. Now I've really got to go mum.'10

'Bye dear, and watch the roads and cars and bu-'11

'Mum! I'm fifteen, I got it'12

'Ok, bye then'13

She had been waiting for this day for two months. She couldn't believe she was actually about to try out. Her heart was beating faster than ever. Her eyes were open wide and she had a great nig smile on her face.14

As she walked and stood by the bus stop, she looked to the shy, little snowflakes started to fall. When the bus eventually came, she got on.15

The Jorney seemed endless. She checked her watch; the tryouts were in five mintues - the bus wasn't going to make it. Then, out of the window, she spotted a railway. She pressed the stop button and jumped off the train.16

The weather was very cold now. She could see her breath when she breathed out. She pulled her scarf higher over her face and put her gloved hands in the pockets of her brown coat. She walked at a rapidly fast pace until she broke into a run. She completly ignored the 'stop' and 'no tresspassing' signs and ran straight onto the rail tracks. She didn't look anywhere except straight ahead of her, snow was falling all around her and a thin layer began to form on the ground.17

All of a sudden, she slipped. She let out a quite yelp just before she hit the ground. After a few short breaths, she got back up, looked back and thought ''woah. That could have been alot worse if the snow didn't break my fall.' She let out a relieved laugh and decided to walk the rest of the short cut.18

About a mile away, a train was moving at 120mph...19

The girl was totally oblivious. All that she cared about was making the try-outs.21

When she finally turned round and saw the train it was much too late, within a blick of an eye her life was over.22

Before she died she muttered one single word:23
