This Cold Night Was Meant For Us

Dancing with the music, feeling her hands all over my body, taking off my shirt, loosening the buttons and kissing every part of my body. I knew when this was all over, I'd end up hurt once again because she pretends like it never happens. Uses me for what she wants and needs at nights like this. On the cold winter nights.1

Her lips pressing to mine with pressure, her tongue thrusting into my mouth, asking to play. The invitation is granted and the passion between us grew more intense. We never went this far before. Never have we gotten so far, and my need for grew stronger. 2

Moaning in her mouth, slowly pulling off her underwear and pressed my full naked body to her but not yet stealing her away. Falling to deep sleep, the night's moon crossed over till it became the early morning light. Sitting up fast, I see her spot empty and gone. I couldn't believe it, after last night, she still left me again.10

Getting out of bed, getting dressed in my usual black tee, ripped faded black jeans and red Vans. Walking out to the empty living room and out the front door. Too my shock and pain, she was kissing another man. In fact kissing my cousin. I shouldn't care but this boiling rage hits me hard.11

Running back in the house, slamming the door shut, trying to get under control so I don't hurt her. It was my fault, I shouldn't keep saying yes to her.12

My anger getting the best of me, I ran back outside and walked over to them. Shoving her away and slamming my fist into his face. A sickening crack came and he screamed out in pain.14

"What the hell Jake!" She yelled.15

"I have let you go for way to long! I refuse to let you keep doing this. We had sex. You liked it and now I plan to keep you forever. You will marry me." I snapped, pulling her close to me.16

Her eyes wide with shock and fear, she tried to pull away. My grip tightening. 17

"You keep running away from me Kate. I won't let it happen anymore." I whispered more softly this time. My grip slowly loosening and my lips pressing to hers, she melted.18

Her body close to mine and then finally pulled away. Walking away. Helping my cousin up and glaring at me. 19

"Jake, I'm already married to your cousin" She declared.20

She left me for him. Then she walked away fully and I knew she just basically left me for dead. She was my first love, she left me for dead and then I saw this was my worst love.21

That she will never come back to me, that she would never love me again. That she messed with my mind and she felt nothing for me.22

Falling my knees, I did something I haven't done since my mom died. I cried....23
