Saphire was on her skateboard and was thinking of the night at the dance. She didn't hear Odd calling her name, until she banged into something and fell down. Odd rushed over to her and asked, "Are you ok?" 5

"I'm fine." Saphire said. Odd held her hand and helped her up, Saphire felt pain in her hands, "Ahh." 7

"What's wrong?" Odd asked. 9

"Nothing. I must've scraped my hands when I fell." Saphire said, looking at her hands. Odd held her wrist and brought her over to a bench 11

"Open your hand." he instructed. Saphire did as he did and found that her arm was bleeding alot. 13

"Do you wanna go to the nurse?" he asked. 15

"No, no it's ok. I'll be fine." Saphire said. 17

"I'll wipe the blood of for you, it might hurt a little." Odd replied. 19

Odd wiped the blood of Saphire's hands with a tissue, while Saphire just stared at Odd. Saphire winced a little and Odd softly blew on her hand. After, he was done with one hand, he shifted to the other. Then, he went back to the other one and held it like he did the night at the dance. After Odd was done, he called Saphire, but she didn't hear him, "Saphire, Saphire!" 21

"Huh? Sorry, Odd I didn't hear what you said." Saphire replied, coming back to reality. 23

"I said, does this hurt?" Odd asked, motioning to his hand touching Saphire's. 25

"No." Saphire replied. 27

"Good. You have a soft hand." Odd replied. 29

Saphire was looking into Odd's eyes and Odd was looking back at her. They got closer and closer and were just about to kiss, when Saphire heard a scream and her name, That's when Saphire and Odd realized what they were about to do and blushed and quicky pulled away their heads. "Saphire!!" Yumi screamed. 31

"How do you stop this thing?" cried Aelita. Saphire got up from the bench and saw Aelita and Yumi on skateboards, before they could rush past her, Saphire grabbed Aelita with her left hand and Yumi with her right. 33

She winced slightly when she grabbed them. 35

"What's wrong?" Aelita asked. 37

"Nothing." Saphire said, letting go of them. 39

"Did you get hurt?" Yumi asked. 41

"It's nothing serious, I just scraped my hands." Saphire replied. 43

"How?" Aelita asked. 45

"I just fell off my skateboard." Saphire said. 47

"How do you fall of your skateboard?" asked Yumi, knowing Saphire was the greatest skater of all time. 49

"I guess I just had alot on my mind." Saphire said, trying not to smile. 51

"Oh, like what almost happened at the ball?" asked Aelita, grinning. 53

"You saw that?" asked Yumi. 55

"Who didn't?" Aelita asked. 57

"Right, anyway, Why do you have those?" asked Saphire, clearly trying to change the subject. 59

"We wanna learn how to skateboard, like you." Aelita replied. 61

"Ok. Well, rule number one, don't skate with a skirt on." Saphire said, looking at Aelita, who was wearing a pink skirt. 63

"But, you wear skirts too." Aelita said. 65

"Well, I'm an expert." replied Saphire.67

It was true, Saphire has been skateboarding since 10 and it might seem impossible for her to wear a skirt, but she does wear skirts, even though she was a tomboy. Today, she was wearing clarrisa flower earrings, a leigh lacuger flower ring, a faceted flower bobby pin, blazing hot nail lacquer, antique studded flats, blue skinny jeans and a red short sleeved shirt, on the front it read: 2DAY IS FLOWER DAY!!!!!! and on the back it read: EMBRACE UR AWESOME FLOWER POWER!!!!!!!. Aelita noticed Odd sitting on the bench, not really doing anything, and said, "Hi, Odd!" 69

"Hi." he said back. Saphire remembered Odd was there. 71

While Aelita talked with Odd, Yumi pulled Saphire to one side and asked, "Are we interrupting something?" 73

"No." Saphire said quickly. Yumi gave Saphire her are-you-hiding-something look and she changed her answer, "Maybe." 75

"What?" Yumi asked curiously. 77

"An almost kiss." Saphire said blushing slightly. 79

"What?! Seriouly?!" Yumi asked, feeling guilty that she interrupted them. Yumi walked over to Aelita and said, "Aelita, I think we should go now." 81

"But, why?" asked Aelita. Yumi whispered something into Aelita's ear. 83

"Well, bye." Aelita said. 85

"Continue whatever you were doing." Yumi added. Before Yumi left, she pushed Saphire onto the bench and quickly left. Saphire's hand landed on Odd's and she quickly pulled away. 87

They sat there in silence, until Odd said something, "So, I didn't see you at the ball." 89

"Oh, I didn't go." she lied. 91

"Why not?" Odd asked. 93

"I was busy." Saphire lied again. 95

"Oh." Odd said. 97

"What'd you do there?" she asked. 99

"I sang with the most amazing singer ever." he said. 101

"Really?" she asked, looking at him. 103

"Well, I thought she was great. But, I don't know who she was or what her name is. I wish I knew, so I could give back her anklet." Odd replied, holding up a anklet. Saphire reached into her sandle and felt around to see if her anklet was there, it wasn't. 105

"Do you know anyone who has this anklet?" Odd asked, returning the anklet to his pocket. Before Saphire could answer, Brad and 3 girls walked up to them. 107
