Saphire raced to Sissi's room and saw the janitor was done and was admiring his hard work. "Go, now! She's coming!" Saphire cried. Saphire took off her jewelry and put on a long coat that she put in Sissi's room. As the janitor rushed off, Saphire sat down on Sissi's bed and tried her best to hide her dress. Sissi came into the room and said, "I see you managed to do something right, without messing up, for once." Sissi noticed Saphire wearing the large dress and asked, "Why are you wearing that?" "This is my cleaning coat." Saphire said, quickly thinking of an excuse. "Anyway, the ball was great, not that you would know. But, there was this girl, who sang nice, but I think she was just showing off." Sissi said. "Well, then I'll be going." Saphire said, getting up to leave. When Saphire stood up, Sissi saw some of Saphire's dress. 10

So, she pulled the jacket off and was shocked by what she was wearing. "It was you?!" cried Sissi. Saphire didn't respond and looked at the ground. "You were the girl, who sang with Odd?!" she cried again. Saphire just nodded her head. "Well, if you tell this to Odd, your diary will be read to everyone in the whole school." Sissi said evily. Saphire just ran out of the room. When she went into her room, she changed into a blue tank top and blue pajama pants and fell onto her bed dazed. 14

She soon fell asleep and had the dream of what had happened at the ball. Just as she was about to kiss him, her alarm clock rang. She asked herself, "Am I ever gonna kiss him?" Since it was Saturday, she decided to go outside and do some skateboarding.18
