Chapter 5 1

I walked to my first class only to be stopped by Jake.2

“So what happened to you yesterday you just disappeared we got worried?” He said in a cute concerning voice. 3

“OMG I am so sorry I completely forgot I didn’t think sorry I’m not used to sitting with others but I just wondered around the school and was looking at the bulletins sorry but I will SHIT sorry I cant sit today either some guys want to play soccer with me I am so sorry”. I said just remembering the game today. I looked up at his face and he laughed. Now I was confused. 4

“Jezz don’t worry its fine ha-ha I cant believe your freaking out about this as long as I’m allowed to come to the game it will be fine your forgiven I have to go but ill see you next class.” He smiled something I hadn’t seen him do at me then walk away. 5

I walked into class and sat down. The teacher walked in and the lesson continued. So far the classes had been easy the teachers had already started giving me extension work so I was back to my old routines. By lunch I was so bored I could of killed someone for fun but I decided the soccer match would be a better option. 6

I threw my bag onto the ground got out my ball and ran up to Jason. He smiled when he saw me.7

“So are we going to do this or am I going to have to kick your ass some other way?.” I asked jokingly as a few of his friends came around. 8

“So how do you want to do it teams or one on one?”. He asked no time hesitating.9

“One on one if I play with that many guys I might get a bad name at this school”. I said jokingly.10

“Well we cant let that happen can we”. He said as a few guys behind him laughed. 11

“No we cant think of my reputation so we better get started so hole filed till the end of lunch OK lets go”. I said throwing the ball down and staring to go towards the goal at the end of the field. He was taken by surprise but he didn’t take long to come after me. He took me by the waist as I started laughing. He tried to get the ball but I kept it just out of his reach. 12

I hadn’t been able to play like this for a while having the entire student body scared to even touch me thinking I had killed my mother but that wasn’t true. I hated what her death did to me but I hated what it did to my whole family more. Death was never fair. 13

We played for a while then decided to have a brake. By then I had scored 3 goals apposed to his only 1. I was very pleased with myself. As I saw Jake at the front of the small gathered crowd I walked over to him. Jason was getting a pep talk from his friends not that it would do any good.14

He smile as I came over and sat down next to him.15

“Hey so I see you couldn’t take your eyes off of me see anything you like?”. I asked jokingly. He smiled and nodded.16

“Defiantly but it may be a little risky she already has half the student body after her I might get into some trouble.” He returned also jokingly. 17

“Yeah well its not my fault I’m so sexy and hot and beautiful and just everything guys want”. I said jokingly in a preppy voice making Jake laugh. 18

“Well you defiantly are all of those things its hard to look away from you”. He said blushing at the same time I did, not many people give me complements. 19

“Um.. Thanks”. I said weakly still very embarrassed. 20

“HEY JEZZ TIME UP LETS GO I STILL NEED TO BEAT YOU”. Jason called seeing me with Jake. Jake got a weird look in his eyes but I ignored it and started running out towards the field. 21

We finished the game falling onto our knees at the end of the long lunch. We were both tired and hot. We had played full on the second half. I won with 6 goals to only his 4 I was so happy I had proved myself. Then suddenly the bell went. As I was getting up I didn’t see the rock that was in my path and completely stumbled over it. 22

“Wow are you ok Jezz that was a big fall.” Jason said coming down to help me. 23

“No I think I hurt my ankle.” I said suddenly aware of the pain shooting through my leg. 24

“Ok well can you walk?.” I tried to stand up on my foot but stumbled back down as the pain was way to much even for me. Then I felt two strong arms pick me straight off the ground without a struggle. I had been called many things but light was never one of them. 25

“OMG what are you doing?”. I asked as he started carrying me closer towards his chest. 26

“I’m talking you to the nurse I think you have sprained your ankle you cant walk on it so I’m carrying you.” He said stating the obvious. I let it go he was right even though it was weird to be having a hot guy carry me I needed his help. 27

As we reached the nurses office the pain had finally taken over me and I was crying. Small tears were falling down my face. The nurse tried to make me feel better but the pain was way to much. It was killing me. At first Jason laid me down on the bed but once the nurse had finished and gone to get me some pain medication. Jason picked me up and laid me down on his lap. Stroking my hair up and down it was soothing. After she handed me the pain medication she gave me a slip saying I could go home and that Jason had to go back to school. He disagreed and started to say he needed to stay with me and make sure I got home safely. The nurse didn’t like this but after some talked done by Jason she agreed. 28

Jason helped me get my stuff then we were off. I had just sprained my ankle but I had to be on crutches for a few weeks which sucked but I’m glad it wasn’t broken. 29

“So are you OK”. Jason had keep asking me from the moment we left the school.30

“YES JASON I’M FINE CHILL OUT”. I yelled slightly annoyed. 31

“OK fine sorry but now we are alone I guess we can talk right? You first we can play 20 questions”. He said laughing it was defiantly not a game he played offend. 32

“Um.. Ok well what is your favourite band?”. I asked not really thinking of a good question. 33

“Your not very good at this don’t worry ill ask the questions so why did you move here?”. He asked.34

“Its complicated and I think telling people is a mistake so next question”. I said slightly confused at my answer. I told Jake but I just couldn’t handle Jason as well. 35

“Um ok sure so what about your family tell me everything”. He smiled not pushing it, Jason was someone I could easily get along with he didn’t push me and I liked that. 36

“Well there’s me and my dad then there is my stepmother and step brother but my family and I don’t really get along I guess you could say I’m the black sheep I don’t mind I’m better off on my own cause I know if anything happens I only have myself to blame.”
