Love Is a Sin; Chapter Two: Boyfriend/Stalker?!1

*Present time*2

“So what do you think about this Kei,” Alex asked Kei as he paced back and forth in his room. Right after school Kei and Alex went to Alex’s estate to discuss the “incident” with the new transfers. They skipped out on practice, so Tsukasu was probably going to chew them out for it later. Soccer was the last thing on their minds at the moment. Kei thought about his answer for a bit before speaking.3

“Well, from what we know; Aura likes you, otherwise he wouldn’t have kissed you like that, right,” Kei said matter-of-factly. Alex knew that part had to be true, unless this “Aura” wasn’t legit about his actions. But why the sudden attraction to Alex? 4

“It doesn’t make sense! I mean it’s not like I was sending him signals of any kind. Unless he saw ‘that’,” Alex pondered out loud, still nervously pacing.5

“What’s that?” 6

“Uh… nothing that you need to worry about Kei,” Alex answered, getting flustered for some reason. He couldn’t let Kei find out that Aura had aroused him just enough for it to show, physically that is. Kei looked at Alex in puzzlement for a second, but then blinked and looked outside.7

“Wow, did your mom put in a new fountain for the garden? It’s very symmetrical,” said Kei, trying to lighten up the mood. Alex gave Kei a look of huge relief for the change in subject. 8

“Yeah, just last week, but I guess if he doesn’t make any more ‘moves’ then we have nothing to worry about,” said Alex blowing the whole problem off. “I mean it’s not like Aura’s gonna follow me home like some stalker, right,” Alex said when a knock echoed through the house; it was coming from the front door. “Huh, wonder who’s at the do…” Alex started to say, before his mom, Mayura, flew past his room heading for the front door. 9

“Don’t worry Alex. I’ll get it,” she said while running down the hall and descending the staircase. It took awhile to reach it, but eventually she opened it and saw the most gorgeous boy she had ever seen in her entire life. He looked at Mayura with beautiful sunset reddish-yellow eyes, smiled and bowed in respect to her.10

“Pardon my intrusion, but is Alex home,” he asked in a velvety soft voice that was dripping with charm. 11

“Oh my! Yes, he is! Just a moment, Ale…” Mayura started to call for her son, but the boy placed a finger over her lips. He leaned down and whispered in her ear that he wanted to ‘surprise’ Alex. “Ah, gottcha, don’t worry I won’t tell him that you’re here. By the way, who are you?”12

“Oh, sorry that was entirely my fault. I am Aura, Aura Netsuke,” Aura answered with a smile.13

“Netsuke?! My god, have you taken an ‘interest’ in my son,” Mayura asked eyeing him suspiciously. Aura was expecting for her to be suspicious and easily dissuaded it.14

“You could say that, or that I just find him absolutely adorable,” Aura said winking a beautiful eye at Mayura. Mayura blushed; which was rare for her considering that she’s a lesbian, before letting Aura inside. At about this time, Kei had gone to use the bathroom and Alex was waiting patiently for him to come back. Alex looked out the window and sighed. He had told Kei that what had happened between him and Aura was nothing. Yet, why did it still bother him. Maybe it was because of how his last relationship had started; with an unexpected kiss from a complete stranger. But, question is, will it end with a tragic and sudden death by murder? It was very risky to start another relationship, especially with someone who just made Alex feel awkward and insecure. While still lost in his thoughts, strong arms wrapped around Alex’s waist and pulled him into a very muscular-feeling chest.15

“I found you, hime (princess),” said Aura as he pressed Alex tightly into his chest. Alex could feel that sensation again, the same as when Aura had kissed him earlier. Aura sensed what his presence was doing to Alex and took advantage of it by grabbing the erection. This only made it more difficult for Alex to resist Aura; but soon he gave in and moaned: “Aura…” Unknowingly Kei had just returned from the bathroom and was hearing some very “interesting” noises coming from Alex’s room. These noises reminded Kei a lot of what he would hear when his brother, Jayce, would bring a girl home and not come out of his room for hours at a time. Kei peered through the partially open door and saw that Aura was “molesting” Alex. After Aura was satisfied with how hard Alex was, he started kissing the neck. This kind of “pleasuring” continued for about an hour until: “Aura… please… stop,” Alex managed to gasp out.16

“Very well then,” Aura complied, being satisfied with just holding Alex for now. Kei, being so involved with the amorous scene before him, did not notice the door he’d been leaning on was starting to move, until it flew open and he fell to the floor with a loud crash. Alex looked towards the source of the sudden noise and saw Kei with his face planted on the floor.17

“Kei, how long have you been watching,” Alex asked embarrassed, but never the less shocked by Kei’s eavesdropping. Though Alex could not deny that he felt some relief; Kei’s “interruption” had prevented Aura from doing anything else to Alex. 18

“The whole time; I sensed his presence about an hour ago,” Aura said bluntly before Kei could answer. Upon hearing that comment, Kei hung his head in shame. It’s true that Kei could have walked away at any time, but he chose to stay and watch like a peeping tom. 19

“I’ll just go dig my own grave right now then,” Kei said as he headed towards the door, gloom spreading over him in the form of a cloud. Kei was so sure that Aura was either going kill him right there or save it for later when there were less witnesses. Alex grabbed Kei by the arm: “Kei wait, you don’t have to leave now. It’s not your fault, so don’t take it to heart, okay,” Alex said to Kei reassuringly. 20

“Tell me Kei, is the reason for watching our little “moment” because you were jealous and want Alex all to yourself?” Kei fell over after hearing that; Alex laughed: “Aura, Kei is straight, always has been and always will be.” Alex knew that Kei could not care for him that way because Kei wanted Rae, Aura’s sister. Kei could see, from that little “scene” earlier that Alex did not like it when Aura fondled him. That and, Aura’s advances seemed rather suspicious; though they were “seemingly innocent”, Kei could not help but question the motive behind Aura’s actions. 21

“Uh… Aura will you let me go please,” Alex asked Aura in an awkward voice. Aura looked down at Alex and smiled: “Only if you stop being so cute,” he answered, pressing his lips to Alex’s cheek. Alex’s face turned red and he touched the spot on his cheek where Aura had kissed him. It felt warm and pleasant, yet wrong for some reason. Almost as if Aura was just using Alex for his own personal gain; what that was, Alex didn’t know, but he decided to be cautious around Aura. That would be easier said than done considering Alex was pretty much born to be gay. 22

Unbeknownst to Aura, Kei and Alex, someone was watching them from a tree just above the balcony, connected to Alex’s window. This ‘watcher’ was a young boy about nineteen years of age; dressed in street clothes. He was using binoculars to spy on them and reported what he saw into a small radio, with headphones attached placed in his ears. 23

“Seems that bastard has already ‘come on’ to his target; he sure as hell doesn’t waste any time,” the boy growled into the radio. 24

“Sounds like you’re pretty pissed off at Netsuke, huh boss,” answered one of the boy’s colleagues through the radio. “Now why would I pissed off I wonder?! Not about the fact that the kid he’s after is extremely dangerous and I can’t stand him,” the boy thought as he tightened his grip on the radio causing it to crack and the signal to turn fuzzy. 25

“H-Hey Boss, Boss?! W-What happened, were you spotted, do you copy, answer,” the colleague said in a panicked and loud voice. The boy rolled his eyes at the mass hysteria coming from the radio.26

“I will be spotted if you don’t quit fuckin’ yelling!!” The way that the boy said it was in a whispered tone, but had the same bite as if he was screaming into the radio. After his colleague finally shut up, the boy went back to observing the three boys; especially Aura. Being so focused on Aura, the boy did not notice Alex looking right at him. 27

“Hey, is someone there,” Alex asked, pointing out the window. Kei looked where Alex was pointing, but did not see anyone there: “It must have been your imagination, Alex,” Kei said, ruffling his hair. From where he sat on the bed, Alex could see that this person had dark, violet eyes with a certain fire to them. Alex soon realized that these were the same violet eyes, which had been cold on the day their owner killed Leo. “No, no way that could possibly be the same person…. But… there is no mistaking those eyes. It is him… that…. That MURDERER,” Alex thought as he glared at the intruder. Feeling uneasy, yet amused by this “death glare” he was receiving from Alex, the boy commented to himself on how cute Alex looked.28

“WT super F?! What the hell am I thinking; I’m not bent that way, no!! But he does look like a cornered fox, with those big eyes all full of fear, so… cute! What the heck, he’s nothing but a half-assed girlie boy, that’s it,” the boy argued with himself. Watching the boy arguing with himself, Alex was deciding whether to blow the whistle on him or to let this cold-blooded killer get away again. He could feel tears leaking from his eyes at the memory of Leo’s unfortunate death. The boy’s eyes narrowed; for some reason seeing Alex cry bothered him. Putting down his binoculars and turning off his radio, the boy leaned back against the tree to ponder this puzzle out. But, when he leaned back instead of hitting the tree he hit the air and fell onto the balcony below. Dreading the worst, which would be Aura coming outside; the boy quickly got up and hid behind a plant. Peering out from behind it, the boy watched through the window to see if anyone would come outside to check for the source of the noise. 29

Meanwhile, on the other side of the window, Alex had seen the boy fall onto his balcony. Before he could go outside though, Aura grabbed him from behind, turned him around and kissed him fiercely, forcing his tongue into Alex’s mouth. Kei nearly fell over from the shocking sight and felt slight amounts of anger starting to boil over in his system. The reason Aura had done this was not because he wanted to, but to put some distance between Alex and the boy outside. That and he knew the boy outside would complicate his plans for Alex. Seeing this, the boy became very agitated and for some reason jealous of Aura. 30

“Why that SOB! That, that heartless demon,” the boy whispered loudly as he continued to watch through the window from behind the plant. After letting go of Alex, Aura shot the boy a “just try and stop me” smirk. His shoulder’s shaking with unrelenting fury; the boy gritted his teeth to calm himself. He knew exactly what Aura had in store for little Alex and what kind of trouble he was getting himself into. The boy could not allow someone like Alex, a rich, spoiled brat, to become involved with the dangerous underground of Tokyo. “Someone like him can never understand what I have to go through on a daily basis,” the boy muttered to himself as he aimed one of his dual revolvers at Aura. “I just need him to step away a little more so I don’t shoot the brat on accident,” he thought. The sooner he removed the problem, Aura, from the picture, the better. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, he felt the cold steel of a kunai being pressed to his throat.31

“Don’t move or I will slit your throat for interfering, Shuto Miyazaki,” said a cold, velvety voice behind him. Shuto glanced at the window and saw through the reflection that it was Aura who held him captive. Working through the many solutions in his head, each ending with the end of his life, Shuto saw no other way around it then to beg for forgiveness from Aura. That was last thing Shuto wanted to do; throwing himself at Aura’s feet was a fate worse than death for him. 32

Meanwhile, back in the house, Alex and Kei were searching for Aura, because of his sudden disappearance. “You search the closet Kei, I’ll check the balcony,” Alex called to him, since he was already tearing through the huge walk-in closet. Kei felt, for some reason, that he should find Aura before Alex did, but he did not know why. It was something about an ominous feeling of trouble looming not far ahead and Aura playing a key role in causing it. While Kei continued to search in a frantic, Alex stepped out onto the balcony. He was also feeling bad vibes coming off of Aura in large amounts, but he could not seem to stay away from him. It was as if Alex was being drawn to Aura; like an addiction to an illegal drug of some kind. But, like an illegal drug, would indulging in Aura’s affection produce dire consequences? Alex shook his head: “Maybe I’m reading too much into this, or maybe I’m paranoid? Either way, I have to find Aura soon,” he thought to himself. “Now, where could he have go…,” Alex was suddenly pulled from his thoughts when he spotted Shuto. On instinct, he took a fighting stance as he had been taught to do so. But, after taking a good look, Alex realized that Shuto was being held hostage by Aura and could not kill him even if he tried. Fortunately for Shuto, Aura had let his guard down upon Alex’s appearance, leaving him enough time to slip away and grab Alex from behind. “Hey, what the he…,” Alex started to exclaim until he felt cold metal jabbed against his temple. Shuto now held Alex captive and dared Aura to take even one step closer: “Now is this really necessary,” Aura snickered, not surprised at all by Shuto’s rash action.33

“Taking him out was the job anyways; better than being in your merciless hands,” Shuto spat back in response. Alex listened intently to what Shuto was saying; feeling both terrified and infuriated by every word. Wondering why he had even grabbed Alex in the first place, Shuto kept a strong, firm arm around Alex’s shoulders; preventing him from escaping. “How could a kid his age be so short? What is he like only five foot? And… why are his shoulders so slender and feminine and… soft,” Shuto thought to himself, not noticing that Alex had managed to loosen himself enough from Shuto to bring his right foot up and kick Shuto right in the jaw. “GACK,” Shuto gasped when he felt his jaw pop and, before he could regain his balance, Alex had wriggled free. Blood dripping from his mouth, Shuto glanced over at Alex. Alex looked back at Shuto: “Thought I was defenseless didn’t yah,” he mocked. Popping his jaw back into place, Shuto tried to throw a punch at Alex. Alex easily dodged the attack by bending over backwards and then he kneed Shuto enough to disarm him. “Arrgh!! Why… you… little freak,” he choked out in between groans of pain. Brought to his knees by the recent attack, Shuto glared at Alex as he back-flipped over to Aura. “Sure, run back over to your little gay-whore. But be warned, half-assed girlie boy, this isn’t the last you’ve seen of me,” Shuto threatened, forcing himself to get up even though he felt a painful ripping sensation from his groin and retreated. 34

“Good riddance,” Alex stated as he watched Shuto leave, finally. Kei, having witnessed that whole scenario, came outside to make sure that Alex was okay. Aura could feel how tense Alex was and tried to soothe him by kneeling down and embracing Alex to his chest. Alex shied away from Aura’s show of affection; wanting to be alone. He needed some time to think over everything that had recently happened and also to ponder what Shuto had meant when he mentioned that Alex being killed was his duty. Kei motioned with his head for Aura to let go of Alex and Aura reluctantly complied. “Aura, is it too much to ask for you to leave? I’ll see you tomorrow at school, but please, just leave me alone for now,” Alex asked, trembling from the huge torrent of emotion raging inside of him. Aura nodded in understanding and quietly took his leave. Kei followed after Aura, but hesitated at the door: “Alex, are you sure that you’re alright,” he asked out of concern. Smiling at him, Alex told Kei that he would be fine and not to worry. Feeling somewhat reassured, Kei left to vent some frustration off in his lab at home. Alex sighed, climbed into his bed, curled up under the covers and soon fell asleep.35
