Harper couldn’t get out, she couldn’t go anywhere. There was no hallway or anything. She turned around and looked at the old man who dress like a long vampire robe, too. 1

“Where is this place? And why are you talking with British accent? Is this England or something?” Harper asked. The old man didn’t answer. He walked to the table and sighed. 2

“I see you didn’t eat your breakfast.” He said. Harper walked just glared at him. “Aren’t you hungry?” 3

“I rather die than staying here.” Harper snared in a mean voice.4

“Well then…” The old man turned around to look at her then turned to the maids. 5

“Get her something else!” He demanded. The two maids bowed and quickly walked to the door.6

“Wait…” Harper called them. She looked to the old man and glared. “I won’t eat it!” she said. The old man looked mad and turned to the two maids. 7

“Get her out of those filthy cloths! And prepared her for the prince!!” He demanded and walked out! Harper looked at her pajamas and got confused expression on her face.8

“My pajama is not filthy…” she said and walked to the bed and sat down. The two maids walked to her and they shook their head. 9

“Miss Finkle, you have to change.” one of the maids said. 10

“No!!!” She answered. She got up from the bed and walked to the door trying to escape when the two maids did something. Her eyes became so blurry and slowly she fainted.11

A few hours later, Harper opened her eyes and looked at the ceiling. She was still in the same room. She got up and walked to the door and noticed that she was wearing a white dress.12

“What?” She was about to open the door when someone opened the door. She walked backward as she saw a man came in. Slowly his face met the light. 13

“Ben?” Harper asked. “Oh Ben! Thank goodness you’re here!” She ran to him and hugged him. His hand was cold when he touched her back.14

“Don’t worry Harper, you‘re safe with me.” He answered. Suddenly his eyes turned purple red. Harper stepped backward away from him. She was scared of him to see those red, purple eyes. 15

“Who are you? What have you done to Ben?” she asked. 16

“I am Ben. My real name is Benjamin T. Carr.” 17

“I don’t believe you. You did something to Ben! What have you done to him!” Harper screamed. She walked away from him, but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her back to him. 18

“Your hand is cold.” She said. Ben just nodded his head. “What are you?” she continued. 19

“I am a vampire just like Justin.” 20

“I don’t believe you. And wait…. Are you the one who kidnapped me?” 21

“What if I did?” 22

“You are cruel! You tricked me. I hate you!!” Harper said in anger voice. She couldn’t help it, but tears were running out of her eyes. 23

“Why are you crying if you hated me?” Harper didn’t know why. The tears just automatically came out of her eyes. 24

Ben walked closer to Harper and she kept on backing till her back leaned against the wall. 25

“I really want you by my side, Harper. I tried to stay really far from you, but then I couldn’t help myself. Stay with me forever.” Ben said.26

“I can’t stay with someone who is so cruel and someone who I don’t love. I don‘t see you like Justin. You‘re just my friend.” Harper replied.27

“What is it about Justin that I don’t have? You always love him like he is the only man left? When are you going to open your heart for me? Justin and I are no different at all!” Ben yelled. Harper didn’t say anything. 28

“You have Nothing!! Nothing that compare to Justin! That’s why I love him!” Harper shouted. She knew that she shouldn’t have said those word. Those words were just coming out of her mouth by themselves. 29

“so even how hard I tried, I can’t be like Justin!” Ben sighed and turned around to walk to the door. Harper felt a little relief thinking that Ben was about to go away. Ben sudden turned around and sneered at Harper that she was so afraid to look at him. 30

“Harper, I am going to make you fall in love with me!” He turned around and walked proudly away. 31

After a few minutes passed, Harper was in her room thinking about Justin. He probably waiting for her at the neighborhood park. What would he think of her? Liar? forgotable? She curved herself up on the bed and slowly she closed her eyes. 32
