The Old School House

When I was younger I used to play for the school band. We were stuck in this old school house since our school is out of rooms so we had to go in there instead. The old school house was all white and had chipping paint. Boards on the side of the building were slowly falling off, and the roof leaked every-time it rained.
There was an old basement in the old school house that no one dared to go into. It had an old locker room in the bottom of it from who knows how many years ago, and some old desks and band instruments. There were several rumors about things that had gone in the basement. Some said a lunch lady had hung herself down their. Others claimed that they had snuk down into the basement at night and seen a ghost down there. No one knew for sure since most kids couldn't muster up the courage to go down into the basement.
I was always curious about the old basement, but I an terrified of ghosts, and could never find the door to get down there. Even if I found it there was a lot of mold in the basement since water leaked down there when it rained and snowed. The thought of what had once happened in that basement amazed me. I really wondered what had really happened down there. My friends had been wondering the same thing for several years.
One night we decided that it would be interesting to go, and see what was really going on at the old school house. We all lied and said we were going to other person's house. The goal was to spend the night in the old school building with an Ouija board and see what happened. If there was anything or anyone down there we wanted to communicate with it. My friend, Mat brought his video camera the record anything weird that happened.
One Friday we all met up at the school house after dark. We were all wearing all black so we would blend in, and no one would catch us out late. It was Matt, John, Carly, and me. We were all really curious to see what was going on.
I walked in first since I was the only one of my friends in band I knew where my band teacher hid the extra key to the band room. He usually forgot his so he kept another one under the bottom step of the building. WE all wandered into the building. I was amazed it looked so much more creepy in the dark. I was getting a really bad vibe, and suddenly had a bad feeling about being in there.
Seconds after entering the building the door closed right behind us. Carly screamed. "Caylee! What the hell!" she shouted at me.
"Calm down that door always does that." I said calmly even though I was creeped out. Matt tried to reopen the door, but it was closed tight. Carly's green wide eyes were filled with fear. "Matt open the door, and stop freaking Carly out." I said.
"It's stuck dude. Oh well there's other doors to get out of here right?" he asked.
"Yeah there's like five." John said. Carly was obviously freaked out her eyes were huge and she was pale as a ghost. Ironic expression ay?
"You should have just stayed home. If you're already freaked out you won't be able to handle a night in here dude." I told her.
"I think I can handle it I'm just a bit jumpy." Carly shot back. I rolled my eyes. The Grudge made her have nightmares for weeks now that it was the real deal I knew she wouldn't be able to handle it at all. I sighed, and looked around. Something didn't seem right, but I couldn't quite figure out what it was.
Matt and John went to look around. Carly and I were in the main part of the building where the band room was. I glanced at the old green chalkboard and the boarded up windows. It's weird how little things can make a place look so creepy.
Suddenly I heard Matt and John yell. "John Matt!!!" Carly and I screamed. Carly and I ran through the hall of the old building and found where Matt had fallen through the old floor. "Matt dude can you get out?" John asked.
"Dude I can't find the door!" Mat shouted. Without thinking I jumped down there with Mat. I knew the building pretty well and thought I would be able to find the door.
"Carly go turn the light on." I shouted. Carly did as I said. Matt and I waited around. Matt was shaking a bit. "You ok?" I asked.
"Yeah, but that scared the crap out of me. How can this floor hold up the fat kids in band?" he asked.
"Who knows." I said.
"Matt the light won't turn on." Carly shouted from upstairs.
"Matt can you reach me. If I can get you out I can get Caylee out, or do you see a door?" John asked.
"It's pitch black what do you expect." Suddenly we all heard a loud creaking noise. John backed off from the whole and bit, and Carly started whimpering like a little kid. Matt quickly looked around. I started walking around desperately trying to find a door.
In the dark it was hard to find my way around. I found an old locker room door, and walked into it. I reached my hands down the wall looking for a light-switch. My hand touched something a little gooey and sticky. I figured it was mold, and wiped it on my jeans even though I was grossed out. Then I reached up to see if there was a string for the light-switch. There wasn't one.
I heard screaming and running from upstairs. "John! Carly get back here!"
"Get us out!' Matt and I shouted. They didn't respond. That was kind of weird. Matt was somewhere else, and I couldn't find him. Finally I felt him tap my shoulder. I turned around to grab his hand. By that point I was nervous and freaking out. Nothing was there. I felt a cool breeze, and saw a light go on.
"Caylee I found the light!" Matt shouted. I ran over towards him. Now that I was feeling someone touch me I couldn't handle being in the basement. He laughed at me, and smiled.
"You seem a bit freaked out now." he teased.
"Shut up man. I felt you tap me on my shoulder... Well I thought it was you, but no one was there it was creepy."  I told him.  Matt continued to laugh at me.  I smacked him in the arm.  He just rolled his eyes at me.1

"You're fine come on let's look around and see what's down here." Matt said.  2

"But what about John and Carly?" I asked.3

"Oh please John said he was going to try and scare you tonight, and that screaming and running thing was probably his pitiful attempt to scare you.  Come on." he begged.4

"Fine do you still have the camera?" I asked.  Matt nodded, and removed the lens cover, and turned the camera on.5

"This here is the basement of the creepy school house.  It is surprising back then they had enough technology to make a basement.  Over here is the mold on the locker room door.  Quite nasty.  It is even turning orange." Matt blabbed on to the camera.6

Out of curiousity I opened the door to see what was in there lockeroom.  "Now Caylee is off to find some ancient gym socks." Matt narrated.  What I saw next scared the crap out of me.  7
