During the Christmas eve, Harper and Justin was on the roof where they had celebrated her birthday. 1

“Do you want to go somewhere tomorrow?” Justin asked. Harper was surprised that he asked.2

“Is that a date?” She questioned him. Justin just nodded his head. Harper rest her head against his shoulder and looked up the sky. 3

“Where do you want me to meet you?” She asked.4

“I will wait for you at the neighborhood park near sub station at 3 PM. How about that?” Justin suggested. 5

“Okay! I will meet you there!” Harper answered in an exciting voice.6

The next morning came, it was Christmas morning. Harper got up and looked out the window and saw the world was covered with white snow. She got up quickly and ran through her morning routine, but she didn’t change her pajamas. She ran down stair and quickly looked for her mom. 7

Her mother was cooking in the kitchen like she usually did every morning. Harper walked to window in the kitchen and pulled the curtain aside.8

“Mom, look!” she said with all the joyful heart that she could have. Her mom turned to her with smiled and said, “I am glad it surprise you. May be this is your Christmas gift from God!” Harper is smiled. She was really happy. Suddenly a door bell rang.9

“Harper, can you get that?” her mom requested. Harper ran to the door as fast as she could and opened the door. It was a huge surprised and confused for her to find out that two strangers were in front of door.10

“Who are…?” She didn’t finish what she was about to say when her head got so hurt and dizzy. The men looked blurry to her and she slowly closed her eyes. 11

Mrs. Finkle noticed that Harper wasn’t come back from answering the door. She put down the spoon that she was holding and walked to the door, and found that the door was left opened and found no Harper. 12

“Harper?” She called. She looked outside and found foot no footstep. Then she turned to around and looked at the carpet and found Harper’s hair pin. It was a pink bow hair pin.13

She quickly picked it up and ran up stair hoping that she could find her in her room. 14

“Harper?” she called and went into her room, yet there was no sight of Harper. She ran into her bedroom and found Mr. Finkle was looking for his sock.15

“Honey… I can’t find Harper.” Mrs. Finkle said in a nervous voice. She was really worried about Harper. 16

“Hm… may be she went outside to play in the snow.” Mr. Finkle answered.17

“She wasn’t out side either.”18

“She probably goes to sub station, and don’t worry. She is a big girl.” Mr. Finkle said and finally found his sock. Mrs. Finkle didn’t feel relieve at all, but she tried to not to worry about Harper. Just like her husband said. Harper was a grown up girl. She went back down stair and continued on her cooking. 19

In the same time, Justin was at home. He woke up early and got a bright smile across his face every where he went. His mom and his dad were suspicious about his smiled. They wondered why. 20

When Max and Alex was up, they were both surprised to see Justin worked in the sub station early in the morning.21

“Wow! What are you doing?” Alex asked when she got to him.22

“What do you think I am doing?” 23

“Making sandwich early in the morning when there is no costumer coming?”24

“I am not making it to sell.”25

“Then what are you making it for?” 26

“I’m not telling.” 27

“Fine! Who want to know anyway!” Alex said and walked into the magic lair. Justin still grinned and kept on doing his stuff. Then there came Max. 28

“Woo… Justin? Are you in a good mood today?” He asked.29

“I am always in a good mood.” Justin answered. 30

“I see!” Max said and walked into the magic lair. 31

About an hours later, Harper slowly opened her eyes. She rubbed her eyes and looked up the ceiling and noticing that the ceiling is different from her room. 32

“Wait! Where am I?” She asked as she got up and looked around. She was in a beautiful bedroom with beautiful bed sheet. It was dark pink. She looked around and found a big window. She got out of the bed and walked to the window. It was cold standing near to the window. She tried to look outside, but it was too dark. She remembered that when she woke up earlier, she saw pure white snow early in the morning. How could this place still dark? She thought. Then she remembered two stranger men came to her door. 33

“Where am I? Who were they?” she asked. 34

Suddenly she heard someone walking outside of her room. She turned around and found someone opened the door and a maid came into the room wearing a white apron on top of her dark blue dress. She had a white hair bow on her hair and pretty. She had a tray of break fast on her hand.35

“Oh… Young Miss have been woke up.” She spoke in British accent. 36

“Wait… Who are you?” Harper asked. 37

“I am Janna. Miss.” She answered.38

“Can you tell me where am I? Who brought me here? And who are those two men? What do they want with me?”39

“I am afraid I can’t Miss Finkle. You’ll find out yourself soon.” the maid said and put the food on the table near to the bed.40

“You must be hungry. You can have your breakfast.” Janna said.41

“I am not hungry. I am not going to eat anything.” 42

“Miss. You have, too. You’ll starve.”43

“I told you that I don’t want any food! Take it out!” Harper screamed. 44

“I beg your pardon! Please forgive me miss Finkle.” 45

“I want to go home! My mother probably worry about me now! Tell me where am I?” Janna shook her head. 46

“Then leave! Go!!!!!!!!!!!!” Janna got up quickly and walked out the door. Harper sat down on the bed and cried by herself. She was going to have breakfast with her family that morning. And everything was ruin by those two stupid men! Harper hit the bed as hard as she could, and all her anger were slowly escaped. She quietly laid on the bed cried silently. 47

About an hour later, footstep were coming from outside of the door. She got up and dried her eyes. The door flung opened and an old man walked in with two maids behind him. He looked at Harper staying far distance from her. He touched his chin and thought for a moment.48

“I never thought she will be the one.” the old man said. 49

“Who are you? Why are you bringing me here? Don’t you know kidnapping a girl is against the law? If police found you out… you’ll go to jail!” Harper said.50

“Wow! You have such a sweet face, but have such a sharp mouth!” The old man grin.51

“What do you call me?” Harper raised her voice.52

“Oh! Miss. Please don’t make his majesty mad…” the two maids said. Harper looked at them like what? 53

“What? His majesty? Huh! Why is he such an old man?” Harper said. The two maids were so terrified at her words. 54

“Please stopped it young missy.” one of the maids said.55

“It is okay…” the man said. “I want to hear more.” 56

“Huh! Old man! If you know the law in America, then you should let me go home!” Harper continuing to say.57

“Well if you want to go home then go.” He said and Harper smiled. She walked to the door disrespecting him and opened the door. It was dark and nothing. It was like the room was flooding somewhere in the outer space. Harper’s eyes were wide open. Where was this? Who was this old man? 58
