How Could I Have Lived Without You?

My most important person isn't with me anymore, but she is still by my side forever deep down. She made me feel better when my lovers made me cry. She made me smile even if I was having the worst day imaginable. She beat those up who wanted to tear me apart. I know she probably hates me right now, and I hate her, but I have to give her a special thanks. She was really always there for me. 1

Sometimes, when I can't sleep at night, it's usually because I'm thinking of how you helped me grow as a person. You helped me realize all of the good things in life and how to take advantage of the beautiful life you have before it's gone. You taught me that some people will not be with me forever and showed me by leaving me on your own. The hardest part was trying to hold all of my emotions inside of me and trying to balance without you keeping me standing.2

Alas, even if we seem to be miles apart, distance will never break this like-hate friendship. You leaving actually made me stronger and love all of my friends and family even more while they're here. I can't imagine the person I would be if I hadn't met you. In conclusion, even if I despise all of the time we spent together, it actually may have been for my benefit. That's why you are my special person. 3
