Demon Queen: the Mayhem of Miki Hatch (Chapt 2)

"Don't Move"
Like I can.
Oh, wait a second, yes I can. Phew, what a relief.
I felt like I’d just woken from a long nap. I open my eyes. And I immediately shut them again.
I did not just see that. I could not have seen it. Naruto, Sakura, were standing over me. Them, and that small dog I remember being summoned by Kakashi-sensei. But that's impossible ‘cause they're not real, just a bunch of made-up cartoon characters. I should know because I'm a fan.
"Answer the question," snapped the dog. I never did know his name.
"Don't talk to me like that. What question?" I snapped back. I’m no push-around. People treat me with respect and that's how I treat people. Trust me, you don't want to get in my bad books.
"You're hardly in the position to talking to us like that. I said I want to know Orochimaru’s plans," he demanded. Big attitude for a little dog, but I guess the same can be said for me.
"I should know who this guy is cause...?" My voice trailed off sarcastically. ‘Best play stupid,’ I thought.
“What do we do now? We have to catch up with Sasuke-kun, like Kakashi-sensei said, but what about her?” Naruto said. Ignoring the sharp object pointed towards me, I stood up. This made Sakura to put a kunai right up to my throat. “I said don’t move!” snapped angry little dog. “And I said don’t talk to me like that. Now what’s going on?” I replied. All three of them stared at me like I was nuts. And I guess I am too. I mean, any normal person would do whatever they’re told, yet here I am, kunai at my throat, talking about they should treat me. Crazy.
“Sakura-san, you bring this ...girl back to the village. Give to her to the first leaf jounin you find. This is a chance for us to get ahead of Orochimaru,” ordered Scrappy-Doo. Sakura nodded her head. “Right. Got it.” With that she turned me around and began walking me away.
We were quiet for most of the walk, so I decided to strike up a conversation. If for nothing then just to annoy her.
“My name’s Miki. You?” I asked. Like I said, play it stupid. “Be quiet,” she snapped. “Nice to meet you too,” I replied sweetly. Sighing, I said “so you’re in charge of me while orange fruits basket and his little bundle-of-joy are gonna go after what’s-his-name. Am I right?” “I said be QUIET,” she yelled. Ah well, at least I’d tried.
Still in the forest, we just-so-happened to run into an ANBU black op. ‘This is gonna be interesting,’ I thought. Immediately seeing the kunai and me, the ANBU tied my hands behind my back at sent little pinkie off. I beginning to notice people aren’t too chatty here.
After that, I actually can’t remember anything else, except waking up in the Hokage’s office, with my hands tied in front of me. “Good, you’re awake. Now you can tell us the full extent of Orochimaru’s plans.” I rubbed my eyes and looked at person who was speaking. I recognized her as one of the older members of the counsel who told Jiraiya that they wanted him for Hokage. “Look, not to be disrespectful of anything, but I haven’t got a clue what everybody’s talking about,” I stated.
“We know from your clothing that you’re involved with the sound village, so I suggest you drop the act,” advised an ANBU from behind me, making me jump. I hadn’t known he was there. Then his words sunk in. “What on earth are talking about?” I demanded. What I wanted to say was “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? WHERE AM I? WHAT’S WITH ALL FRICKIN’ NARUTO LOOK-A-LIKES? HAVE I ACCIDENTALLY WALKED ONTO SOME SORT OF MOVIE SET?” Yeah, I don’t see that going down too well.
“I suggest you mind your tone,” cut in the old woman sharply. “If you just tell us everything now, your punishment – which you will eventually get – may not be so hash.” Dear Lord, the bitterness in her expression! If I’ve ever complained about old people where I come from, I take it all back now. Even old Greger.
“Well if you must know...”I said, turning round to face her. “...my name is Miki Hatch, granddaughter of Susan and Matthew Hatch, and daughter of Selena Hatch. I’m eleven years old...” “We’re not interested in your personal life! Tell us about the invasion!” interrupted a different ANBU on my left. Where the heck are they coming from?!
I looked around the room. There weren’t any windows. Once again I turned to the old lady and shrugged my shoulders. “What invasion? For all honesty Ma’am, it could be pissing rain outside and I wouldn’t know.”
“Ggrrr...we’re not going to get any information from her. Lock her in the cells. See if a night in prison will make her talk,” she snapped. “But ma’am, by then it might be too late,” said ANBU number one. “We haven’t got any other choice. Send our men around the outside of the village. Make sure no enemy ninja are going to enter from behind. I want you to go the arena, pretend this girl here has told us everything and we’ve defeated his men. Try and trick him into retreating. It’s all we can do at this point.” She threw a disgusted face as I was marched off.
What the hell is going on?
