Have you ever been bored out of your mind?
That's my life. Being bored.
I once got a chain mail, it said Life sucks, so get used to it.
Who ever sent that. YOU ARE SO RIGHT!
Life sucks, i'm not emo or whatever. I'm not trying to be a downer, but it's hard when your parents are fighting in the next room and you know what's going to happen soon. One of them is going to go stay at a hotel.
I live in London and I like it. I've never been out of the contrary, but I'd like to go to France.
I'm tall and I have light brown skin.
I'm a loaner, not weird but not all that interesting.
I heard the front door bang shut and my Mum kick the door.
Dad had gone.
It was only a matter of time before one of them was gone for good. I don't know if I'm looking forward to it or not. It's hard to say.
When I'm bored I like to stare at the wall, it's relaxing.
Not really, but life goes on.
I got up from my bed, there was no point in staying in this small apartment. I walked through the front door, just like my Dad had a few minutes ago.
"Sophie! Don't stay out to late." Called my Mom as I slammed the door.
I walked down onto the street, it was dark out in the cold night. There was a park close to where I live, so I walked to the park and sat down.
After a few minutes it hit me.
This was no better then staring at the wall.
Once again life sucks.
Someone sat down beside me on the park bench.
"Hey." It was a low voice, sort of familiar.
"Hey." I said, if it was an axe murderer at least life would be a tad interesting.
"So, I guess life suck." He said. It was weird having someone talk to me.
"How did you guess." I could just make out the small puffs of hot air coming out of my mouth in the dark.
"Seen you around." Was all he said, yeah like I would get that.
"Do I know you?" I asked, I couldn't make out his face, but from what I could see he looked about my age.
"Yeah I go to your school." Okay now I felt bad, but I did go to school half asleep.
"Sorry." I muttered. "What's your name?"
"Sahler, Sahler Jones" He said, glancing at me. My dark hair swirled around me in the cold wind.
"Sophie, Sophie Harper." I said, crossing my arms over my chest "I didn't think anyone notices me."
He looked surprised.
"I notice you." Was all I said, well this was new to me.
"I better get going" I stood up, he stood after me.
"Text me." He handed me a piece of paper with his number written on it.
"Nice to see you." I said, taking the paper and slipping it into my pocket.
"See you at school on Monday." I nodded and headed home.
The walk home was short, but I felt like my life had change. Going from boring to interesting in one night. I pulled open the front door and stepped into the warm apartment.
Mum was asleep.
I went to my room and sat on my bed without turning on my light.
For the first time in years I smiled, fingering the number in my pocket.
Life was getting interesting.
Author notes
Ummm, please let me know if you like it, I'm still way new at this.
Is it interesting? I'm trying something new.

I like this story because of its relate-able essence.
I can totally understand Sophie's situation and I can sympathise with her. It's basically written, which is another bonus, and there is a clear complication in the story.
The only thing I *must* complain about is your SPaG...
You really must check over your work before posting... there are some things that could easily be fixed, eg. capital letters and misspellings of common words.
But overall, it's a charming little story, and I enjoyed it.
Keep the writing coming!
