Ben, Artemis, Jenna, Jessica, Gerald, and Henry all stood in front of the Fears a few miles from the H.V.C.2

"Out of the way, kids! You can't fight the Fears!" Reper said.3

"Yes, we can! You're not getting to the H.V.C., Reper!" Artemis said as Gerald hit Reper with lightning.4

Yvonne took the electricity from the lightning and threw it back at Gerald, pushing him into a tree. Jessica got angry and made a tree root rise up from the ground and pull Yvonne into the earth.5

Dios formed a giant ball of darkness and shadows and hit Jessica, encasing her in darkness and making her disappear. Henry lifted Dios up into the air with a tornado and flung him through the air a few miles away. Ben picked up a tree and ran at Reper, but, Alix formed her hands into giant swords and cut the tree into stubs. Ben disappeared and reappeared in many places every time Alix swung at him. Then, Ben appeared behind Alix and stabbed her with his sword.6

Artemis shot an arrow at Reper and continued shooting at him. Reper pulled them out and threw them back at Artemis. But, Ben jumped in front of Artemis before they could hit him and Ben was penetrated with at least ten of Artemis's arrows. Jenna got angry and suddenly turned into a tiger and attacked Reper which caught him off-guard. He pulled Jenna off him and she slammed into a tree.7

Artemis went to Ben's side. "Ben! Ben what were you thinking? Come on Ben!" Artemis started pulling the arrows out one by one as Reper ran towards the two Vampire brothers.8

Anna started going into the H.V.C. until, she got a feeling in her gut then, Constance's voice rang in her head, "Ben is dying, Anna. Will you help him?"10
