I was just clicking through stories, looking for something to read and a found a poem. A pretty boring poem...about love...and loss...just like A BILLION other poems. what really annoyed me is that is was on this site, the clue's in the name idiot "Storywrite" its for stories, not poems. There's a website called "AllPoetry" i wonder what you put there? mabye all the shitty poetry that ends up on this site.34

^_^ I see what you mean, although I don't mind poetry. I put my poetry on here because all my friends write stories and would not go on to allpoetry to read them all the time and this site would not inform them that it exists. Yes, maybe I could make friends on allpoetry, but I'm refering to my in person friends. Also, I've come to find that, overall, The people on storywrite is a little more... friendly. Anyway, The main thing that bugs me is all the emo poetry. I understand that people need to vent, but the ones I read are usually just saying "I am so miserable I wish I could die" in as many words as they can. Not all of them, of course, and I would not dislike a poem just because it is not happy, but the point of poetry, to me, is to express a big point in as few words as you can, put together to create beauty. Lol, I just went on a bit of a rant myself there, didn't I? Any, just saying the thoughts that your rant provoked. Interesting thoughts.

Ok Well Fuzzy you do have a good point. But I must say that I attempted to move to Allpoetry as you sujdest. I found Storywrite easier to use and I have a friends here. Also Points do not transfer over to Allpoetry. SO thank you for your sujdestion, But i do believe I will stick to This site And i apologize if while you were looking for something to read And one of the bad poems you happened to see was written by me, although i always put my poetry into the catagory poetry some do not. Nice rant in any case.

I do see where Fuzzy is coming from though. This is STORYwrite. Not POETRYwrite. There is a place for poetry. Allpoetry. So Fuzzy does have a point. -

I think fuzzy's point is that if you want to write poetry than do it on allpoetry and we will see it on storywrite but dont post on storwrite.
