A Rewarding Hobby1

My hobby is writing. I write a lot of stories and poems. I mostly write stories that fall in the category of romance, fantasy, fiction, and horror. Whenever I write, my English improve more and more. I used dictionary to look for word that has similar meaning to the word that I use, so that I don‘t have to use the word over and over again. It is like every time I write, I know more English language. Whenever I write poems, I know more English, too. I looked for words that rhythm with the word that I used. So every time I looked for words, new words show up. I think this hobby reward me. I get to improve my writing and learning English at the same time. I also enjoy writing. I write it from my heart. I write what’s in my mind, and what’s in my heart. 2

My Favorite Subject3

I love to draw and do art, so my favorite subject is art. I do a lot of art work such as drawing, and doing craft. While I was in high school, I drew, painted, and did mural with my classmates. I love doing art because I get to express myself in front of other people without talking to them. When people look at my art works, I want them to be happy with my artwork and get the message what I wanted to tell them. Also when I do art, I get to forget what problems that I am facing. Art can be anything. It can be in music, write, draw, paint, dance, and other kind that people created. It can also be a sculpting or pottery. I also did pottery when I was in high school. I made a beautiful flower vase with a snake wrapped around it. The story told by itself when people looked at my flower vase with a snake. Everything I do is related to art. Even though when I write, I still be creative and make my audience love my work. 4

My Favorite Holiday5

My favorite holidays would be Christmas and July the fourth. I love Christmas because I get to spend most of my time with my family. In Christmas, my mother, my father, and my brother are not working. They get their day off. My family would gather up and celebrate Christmas. Sometime we celebrate with people from the church. I love watching the Christmas play and Christmas chores. I also get part in Christmas play. This Christmas year, I will be an angel that go and talk to Joseph when he slept. In Christmas, I get to see all the beautiful light with many different colors on people’s house, and Christmas tree. My sister and I would decorate our Christmas tree from October, and soon after October, my family would decorate our house, both outside and inside. I like July the Fourth because I get to see all the beautiful lights in many different colours up in the sky. Christmas and July the Fourth are my two favorite holidays.
