Hither Children (Chapter 1)

I laughed as I watched my people dance with fire torches swinging them about. I swung my hips to the beat smiling happily as I waved my hands about waiting for my favourite sisters in this life. The ones in our first life who were the most powerful and after this life the first Hither star circle was complete. I saw my other crossing around the celebration dancers. He was smiling as he saw me dancing.Torch hugged my waist and smiled,1

"How are you Wild?" I smiled and touched his face feeling the connection which made us want each other is every life as we were each other halves. Our people walked up to us bowing,2

"We thank you and your mother Hither for protecting and keeping balance to our city and world." We smiled and thanked them in return.That is when I saw him Hithers lover, walking towards both of us. 3

I grinned and cut across the dancers to meet him when I heard the screams coming from around. I turned and saw the council of ten with looters coming everywhere. I looked at Torch noticing him. Then a large crossbow shot into his stomach and threw the back. Rope was attached to the arrow yanked and Torch flew into the air towards them with blood bubbling out of his mouth. i screamed as my other was token away from me. I punched the air and lightening shot out towards the people who had taken my other. Everything caught alight and lightening shooting sparks everywhere. 4

"WILDFIRE HELP ME!" A male voice yelled out to me. 5

I turned ready to fire a blot of lightening to the. lift his Hands up and magma shot into the sky and flicked his hand and the lava smashed down creating a barrier to the Ten and looter to us. I then one of the ten shot the enemy. A looter had a sword around Hither lovers throat as he looked at me. I knew i could not shot at him as the looter was too near him. i ran up to him and then the looter cut his throat and he fell to the floor. i flicked my finger out and lightening hit him right in the heart killing him stone dead. I felt cool running down my toga. i stared down as i saw the large arrowhead sticking out of my stomach. i reached behind me and felt the other end connected to rope just like what attached to Torch. i felt my feet lift from the air and i barely head the screaming of my people and my eyes blurred as the arrowhead tightened and i felt it rip my threw back the way it came and everything.... everything went...6

I held my six year old son tightly in my arms, singing gently to him,8

“Sweet little mockingbird,9

Sweet little mocking bird,10

Never wanting to see you cry,11

Always I know,12

I’ will always be there,13

So don’t you ever cry.” 14

I repeated our song till he was fast asleep. I put him down on the bed, tucking in the fine cotton covers around him and got up grabbing the candle with just leaving one next to the window alight. I walked out of the room and through the halls till I came to the opening of the front door. Admiring the prefect view of the main square below and the high wall surrounded the city. I smiled at this perfect moment wondering how little I had since my other had died once I had finally found him in all my lives. I sighed and looked up at the empty space in the sky among the stars which belonged to my mother hither and her lover. 15

I saw Nature run through the front gates with Soul behind her as they ran to me. 16

“Looters are coming for us,” Soul panted out as she stopped at me. Nature turned around looking at the moon in the sky. 17

“How many?” I asked in barley a whisper, staring at Soul. 18

“Too many unless you’re working properly,” Nature grunted not looking at me or Soul. I bit my lip worriedly,19

“No I am still not well but I will die before they take my son. Soul, Nature what will you do?” Soul smiled gently at me,20

“I may not have all my ability in this life but I do not want my sisters dead and they have to pay for killing my other.” Nature turned and looked at me and smiled gently,21

“I care about your son and my sisters. So they shall have to kill me before they take my city, my sisters and for taking our others.” I grabbed both their hands when I heard the screams of my sister, Nature people as they ran towards us. Nature stepped forward and I just noticed how old we looked.22

We were all me, soul and nature 35.We all looked the same and our other sisters except our eyes and hair. Nature was tall with hardly any wrinkles, her eyes were green and her hand was in a plate ending at the beginning of the hollow of the back and was dark brown resembling stones which built her city. Soul looked identical with coal black hair flowing down curling slightly till the hollow of her back and black eyes. I on the other hand had silver hair flowing identically to soul and silver and blue eyes which were once just silver. Each of us looked completely different when we were born all of Hither children did but when we became into adolescence we turned into our true form and we get our ability. 23

“IN THE HOUSE MOVE, MOVE, MOVE!” yelled Soul taking place with Nature as the crowd ran past into the house. 24

“MUMMY WHATS GOING ON?!” came a boy voice behind me. I turned and stared at my son. 25

His eyes were dark blue and he had dark hair which huge in golden ringlets and the moon shown on him showing his rosy cheeks. My first child in all my lives since my mother hither created me and my siblings. He looked terrified and scared just like he did when he saw his father die. I ran to him and knelt on my knees and hugged him. 26

“You must go with the others. You must run till me or your aunts find you. Do you understand? Run and I shall find you,” I whispered to him. He shook his head crying,27

“Mummy do not leave me.” 28

“Go i will...” I began.29

“They are here sisters,” Nature screamed. I kissed my son and got up,30

“Hurry my mockingbird.” I turned and walked towards my sisters and saw the looters walk in. They had swords, whips, archers, crossbows and axes. They aimed at us and then we saw them, the council of ten, all cloaked. 31

“Surrender and we shall spare you,” One of the council of ten spoke up to us. I, Soul and Nature laughed together at the thought. 32

“We have lived eighteen other lives fulfilled and no war that has killed us and we have died only of old age and our nineteenth shall be different we know as know you have killed our others and siblings but I shall fight till at least three quarters of you are dead or the whole of you,” Nature sneered at them.Soul grinned grimly,33

“In nineteenth life’s we have weak abilities than many of our family but we are true hither daughters the same as our dear sister Wildfire who you killed in unfairly as she tried to help rescue someone and you murder her. And we shall kill you for it.” 34

“KILL THEM!” one of the ten ordered.35

Nature hands shot up into the air and the plants veins, roots, branches all shot out and twisted round the looters dragged them apart. Limbs shot everywhere leaving the body and heat intact with the looter still screaming in pain. 36

Soul walked up next to nature and flung her arms out as if readying herself to embrace them and then it seemed as if her soul walked out of her body totally blue from the moon and her hands seemed to stretch out and grabbed into the men’s body dragging their souls out till they landed dead on the floor. While her soul did this, her normal body was standing in the garden still in embraces position. 37

The archers shot past me and I heard his scream I turned and saw one past his eye and blood started to seep out of the gash next to his eyes. I screamed crazily. I turned and out of nowhere water rose up into the sky like a tidal wave and then it crashed down on them. I ran to him and collapsed onto my knees staring at his face. 38

“Mummy it hurts,” he cried out in pain. I looked up at the doorway and saw Annie a farmer’s daughter staring at me. 39

“Annie take him and look after him for me till I come. Nature I need the escape route for them,” I looked at her. She turned and stamped her foot and lifted her left hand slightly and the fence of trees moved and there was a passage way. 40

“GO KNOW!” I yelled at them. He grabbed onto me,41

“Mummy come with us.”42

“I love you,” I whispered. 43

I got up and watched as Annie dragged him into the tunnel and I waved to him as nature closed the tunnel. I turned around and faced the ten. Soul was still grabbing their souls and nature ripping them out. Some were unconscious or dead on the floor from when I let the water crash. Then I saw it a huge arrow and one shot at Soul and passed through her soul towards her body. Her soul turned and tried to run towards her body and she went into it and she moved turning towards us when it hit her in the side of her chest threw her lungs and heart. Her soul went out of her and it whispered,44

“I love you sisters.” 45

She then vanished. Nature screamed in agony and she started to move her hands in a complicated fashion and all the plant life was moving and that’s when I saw it a huge rock flying in the air from a catapult. I yelled at Nature to move when it hit her head on making her smash to the floor. It was just me. 46

“Surrender or we will kill you,” someone shouted. I screamed and waved twisted the water round them pulling them to the floor crushing some from the weight when I saw the multiple arrows come to me. I got rid of half by curving the water as a shield but several went into me in the stomach, shoulders, legs and arms. I fell to the floor and they walked up to me smiling. They were all younger by at least six years than me. I looked at the ten and spoke,47

“I shall remember all of you when I am reborn even if you are old and dying I will torture you till you remember why you never can kill me and Hither children. You will be destroyed and killed.You shall be sorry for killing any of us and our people and our families.” 48

One walked up to me and raised his sword aiming at my heart. I raised my hands making the water rise above us so no one can get to us and I got up feeling the power which my mother hither blessed me in this life erupting in me. The looter sent his sword down in my heart and the water sawed down and pierce his right lung and we both fell to the floor. I tried to move my arms but more arrows pierced my body and I must have looked like a pin cushion and I smiled as my loving water crashed down on me giving me mercy than to live any longer and when it hit...... 49
