Letters of the Lost Entry 8

Dear God,
This weekend was sort of good, sort of not. I got to see Ally and Jordan on Saturday, and the whole time they told me about how great the regular high school is and how I should come back and be with them. Never once did they let me talk about my school, but I guess they were just excited and wanted to let me know everything. Then when I brought out my math homework they both gaped at me. I know it’s a lot, but it's all really fun. We're doing problems on inverse trigonometric functions. They got a little intimidated I think, because they ran off to go watch TV while I worked on the last fifteen problems I had to do before today.
That took me until dad called to say he was coming to get me. So, I rushed back into the den of Ally's house and they were in the middle of playing Life. I hate that game. The first time I played it I did the right thing and went to college and I ended up destitute, single, and had twelve kids! While Ally was a millionaire and had a wonderful husband, she just laughed at me. I'm never playing that game again. I told them my dad was coming, and Ally asked me to stay the night. I told her about dad and the lake, but she got so mad at me I had to grab my things and wait outside for dad.
Today was wonderful though! After church me and daddy took the truck up to Clearwater Lake. We rode around the lake for a while, went fishing, and then I went swimming for a bit while dad went to get the truck to load the boat up. It was about six once we left. Thankfully mom had dinner all ready for us, but I had to get a shower and change first. I could smell algae on me. I love swimming in lakes but I don't like the smell.
I'm so happy though! I have no homework waiting around for me; I'm all ready for school tomorrow. I just love this non-stressed feeling. I'm just worried about Ally and Jordan. I hope that You help to feel better without me. I really hope tomorrow goes good.
