When I've awoke I saw myself, trapped in this place. It seems as if Cloud had turned me into but a memory, as he had threatened. Damn bastard. Now I am but a memory, but that will not make my hopes die and fade. But, how..How am I still physically able to think and act inside of Clouds head? Wait, my genetic make up is in his body after all..This could prove to be quite fun. Heh heh.1
Now I have devised a plan to use Clouds body to release myself from him..But not before I bring him sorrow. "There is nothing that I don't care for" he says.."You don't get it" he also told me.. Oh, I get it. And I shall give him sorrow. I will take everything important to him: EVERYTHING! Now, I will navigate Clouds mind, search through his memories, and study all three of my deaths..That bastard..Oh he will get his soon..Very soon..2
I have learned in his memories what he cares most about..And I've also learned that he will defend those memories harder then ever..That is what had resulted my three defeats..The first was Tifa..When I ran that wench right through..But it is a wonder she was still breathing..Then aerith, even the mere memory of that dead whore had sent him off. Then it was the planet..It is not HIS planet..It is mothers! He has no right to say what is to become of mothers planet! Now, to move on to more..Sensitive memories..3
Bah! All these memories of him, they are beginning to plague me now.. I have been couped up here too long..Longer than in that damned mansion..Cursed place..Cursed Shin-Ra! They took mother..They tried to take the planet from her.. Even thinking about Shin-Ra..The thought of that damned coorporation.. Anyway, Clouds memories have proved worthless.4
Everything dear to him, aerith, and that black haired bastard are already dead! But why does he still hold on to everythin? Damn him..Even his thoughts cannot solve this puzzle..5
Now is the day..I will escape his thoughts, and begin to rid the world of everything.. Use the planet as my ship. And Cloud, I will not take everything dear to you; you will! I shall use you as a puppet, as I had done before. You thought it was bad when you stood helpless while you watched Aeirth die, you will feel much worse when it is you who kills Tifa, and all who is dear to you. Heh heh...6

An interesting journal. We know that sephiroth will always haunt cloud, and I know he will be back, after all there are 2 of his spirits we dont know what happened to them. However I do agree with rebecca on this one. the way you get sephiroth to speak just doesnt seem quite right. Well anyway, good luck in the contest, fellow contender

My peice was after AC. It was a scenario that Sephiroth after the final battle in AC with Cloud had turned into a memory. Sephiroth had said himself "Not a mere memory" but what if he was more than a memory? What if during the battle he had transferred himself partially into Cloud, through thoughts. I never stated that the battle in AC was in Cloud's head. It was just a mere scenario. So when reading my story, just ask yourself "What if" you know? Read it again, and ask that question.

hmm... you have your facts about Sephiroth, but I will please ask you when writing in his words, to watch your tenses. I realise people think he is insane, but... he Does know where he is... assuming this is set after AC (judging by half the quotes you've used, can I just point out Sephiroth is Not in Clouds head... as with you... these things do tend to bother me. The final battle at the end of the game, yes... that was possibly in Clouds head, although it is hard to tell, but AC? No. That was definately realer than real. Not to mention judging by the actions that were done, Sephiroth no longer has control over Cloud, Cloud showed no signs of being manipulated, by either Jenova or Sephiroth. Sephiroth did not die, purely because his will was too strong to allow himself to be taken by the lifestream, he travelled via the lifestream. I won't go into the whole story here, since I have no wish to give away too many spoilers for those who have not yet watched it... but watch it again if you still have it... watch how he speaks, there is no swearing, he is more amused right up until the end.. don't you think?
So yeah... little things bother me too... Sephiroth is one of my all time faves to play with, I'm hoping you will rewatch and submit another... showing me what you are capable of, as I have no doubt that within that mind of yours (as within the mind of all big Sephiroth fans) is an exact image you want to portray, you just need to find a way to show that...
