Clara's Secret chapter 4

I wake up from what feels like quite a lot of time. My head has a dull throb to it, but I ignore it.1

"Oh my god Josh are you okay?!" I jerk up from what appeared to a car seat, realizing what happened.2

"I'm fine, my knuckles are bruised, but other than that I'm okay. But it's not me I'm worried about, it's you." he says looking away from the road for a couple of seconds, to look at me.3

"Is he finally..... Gone?" I manage to muster out4

"Clara I didn't even bother to check if that bastard was alive or dead." he says in a low, but sad tone5

"Did he get up? You know, when you punched him?"6

"No, I took off after I got you in your seat." he says while looking at an exit sign7

"Where exactly are we heading to?" I say with a puzzled look on my face8

"We're going to Cancoon." he says with a strained crooked smile9

"Mexico?!" I manage to say with out sheriking10

"Yeah are you okay with that?" he says panicked11

"Yeah, I just didn't know you knew that I always wanted to go there."12

"Really? I also thought you'd like it, because of the parties that go on up there." he smiles slightly13

"You know, I never thought I'd find someone quite incrible, and courageous like you." I smile happily14

"Hey Josh do you have any Asprin?" I say ready to look in the back seat15

"I bealive so, check my Black school bag." he says turning a sharp corner16

"I just heard them rattle." I say snatching the bag.17

"That feels a lot better for my head." I say putting my head up agaisnt the cool glass window18

"Is it okay if I sleep some more?" I ask still getting used to the idea of never returning home19

"Of course Clara." he says smiles, as he touchs my face, before putting his hand back on the steering wheel.20
