All the Time

Once upon a time
There was a little girl who rhymed
All the time1

And all the time she sang
She'd sing even in the rain
And she'd sing about her pain
And they'd say she was insane
All the time2

And all the time she'd sing and sing
She'd sing about 'most anything
She'd sing about the birds who flew
She'd sing of all the 'me's and 'you's
She knew3

And sometimes she would wonder why
Someday the sun would grow and die
And why pretty things should cry
And why it seemed she'd never find
Just a little piece of mind
At any time4

So she sat again and rhymed
She sat there and she tried to find
A way to sing about the rain
A way to sing about the pain
All the time...

Author notes

It's just another random poem, made when my friend wasn't responding on AIM... Yeah.

That's very good. The rhyming works well as does the sentence structures. Was there any particular inspiration for it?

      Thanks!!

Nope, I was just doing it line by line without editing so I couldn't go back and change the rhyme scheme... Choosing 'rain' near the beginning resulted in it being more depressing than expected! Hahaha.
