Background: 12

Arlene Cotavia grew up a rich girl in the upper city. She went to all the best schools, had all the most popular friends, all the in styles, and art talents to brag about, but that was all before everything changed on her. A month after being accepted to the art school of her dreams Arlene's future crumbled before her eyes. Her mother, the woman who raised her all her life was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and passed away not long after leaving her alone with a trust fund she couldn't touch until she was through with college or turned thirty. 13

Left alone, Arlene had no where to go but to her father's house. To live with the man who had skipped out on her and her mother before she was even born. The man that sent her birthday cards two months late every year and occasionally a cheap Christmas present. She didn't want him in her life, but Arlene had no choice. Until she was eighteen and able to support herself she had to stay there. At least he was family, sort of anyway. 14

Her world is set into reverse from the minute she moves into the middle class apartment her father Gregory shares with his eighteen year old son, Anthony. She's immediately jealous of Tony, why had their father stuck around for him and not her? She's angry at the world for letting this happen to her mother, to her. 15

Now locked up in a place she doesn't want to be 'suffocated' by a public school her art and grades start to suffer and her friendship with old friends is strained. She doesn’t see much of a reason to keep them up. She can't find any happiness. Her dream of being an artist is slowly fading as a depression settles in. Anthony, although it's none of his business, tries his best to bond with the sister he only just met and comfort her. But the only person she listens too is Parker, a student at her school, and a fellow artist who recognized some of her from published pieces. He gains her trust and opens her eyes up to a different view of the world. One of really getting your messages across.16

He's a graffiti artist with big ideas and is in need of a little help. Arlene things this might be just the thing she needs too, to experience the world from a different perspective and use the city as her canvas. He shows her that everything in life happens for a reason. 17

Apperance: 18

Arlene is a medium build girl wish forget-me-not blue eyes and a somewhat tan complexion and a mess of freckles on either of her cheeks. She avidly dies her hair a light honey blonde color until Parker convinces her to leave it it's natural light brown. As her depression lessens she starts to die streaks of it with different bright colors.19

Most of her clothes have a paint stain or two, especially when she lives with Gregory and can't keep up her normal shopping habit. Her normal dress is jeans and a plain t-shirt and she becomes very fond of shopping at thrift stores for cute mix and match outfits. She always wears a small gold heart locket with a picture of her and her mother inside. The chain breaks at one point and Parker gives her a ribbon to tie around her neck to make the locket into a chocker. 20

Hobbies:21

Painting, drawing. Late night graffiti tags. The graffiti is only in positive messages though, meant to open peoples eyes. Help clean up the earth, unity, love, peace, stuff like that.

Author notes

I may add more to this later. I gave her a whole story, hope it's not too detailed.
