Revenge of Sophia (part 7)

As they searched the temple, looking for the puzzles that needed to be solved, Sophia began to feel a little uneasy. The feel of the souls of the ancients were everywhere, and she hated it. She knew that the clone also hated the feeling, but he just shrugged it off casually. Suddenly, she heard a noise above them. As she glanced up she heard the cry of what sounded like Cloud, then the voice of the ancient girl telling him to follow her. However she continued to follow the clone, until they reached a seemingly empty room. The three of them wandered inside, to find the leader of the turks, Tseng, looking at the murals on the wall. 1

"Keep out of sight, I want to deal with this one," the clone said to Sophia and Sadie. Sadie went outside the room and Sophia used her magic to make herself invisible. Tseng had seemingly solved a couple of the puzzles himself, meaning there was less work for them to do. She watched as the clone slaughtered Tseng after a conversation. She felt a little satisfaction, but at the same time a little disappointment at the fact that she had not killed him herself. As Tseng fell to the floor, Sophia reappeared and asked "Now what?"2

"We wait," replied the clone.3

A little more than half an hour later, Sophia heard a noise outside. She sensed that Cloud was there and went to the end of the room and the clone disapeared from sight. As Cloud came in she turned to face him slowly.4

"So you did show your face," Sophia said to him.5

"I don't want the likes of you getting your hands on the black materia. You would probably give it to Sephiroth. We can't let you do that," Cloud said as he quickly drew his buster sword and held it towards her throat. Sophia saw that Vincent, a vampire looking man dressed in black and wearing a red cape, was aiming a gun to her head. Calmly, she took a hold of Clouds blade and lowered it away from her throat. 6

"You dont want to do that," Sophia said to him. She then smiled and coughed, as the clone appeared beside her.7

Cloud looked a little scared, but at the same time he looked angry, as a converstion started between the two. Sophia watched as they moved further up the room. As the clone took his leave, Sophia began to stare intently at Cloud, and he began to freak out, as though she was brainwashing him, then she took her leave and headed to the exit of the temple. Outside, Sophia waited with Sadie and the clone, and they saw Cloud and his two party members exit the temple, as it began to shrink into a small black ball, the dreaded Black materia.8
