It was getting late. I said good bye to the Friends I had been talking to and made my way home. Once I got there I showered and got into my night clothes and made my way for the room. 1
It felt cold, not the usual chill from the cold air hitting your wet skin but so cold my skin hurt and I felt as I'd never be happy again. I sat in bed and turned off my small desk lamp and threw on the sheets. But I was still cold.2
Suddenly my eyes caught something. I turned my head quickly towards the movement. Across the room, by my door, there was a figure. A small girl with blond curls and a white dress and bright blue eyes. Even in the pitch dark I could see her. She was just standing there, staring with her eyes wide clutching onto her doll.3
The doll was missing an eye and several chunks of hair were missing. It may have been just my night eyes but I could have sworn I saw it blink. But then having a small girl standing in my room was strange enough and defiantly not the tricks of my vision.4
I sat up and she jumped. "It's alright," I said to her soothingly "I wont hurt you, Who are you?"5
She continued staring with those wide blue eyes. I reached my hand out to her, but she only stared at it. I came a little closer and she backed off.6
"It's alright now" I said and walked up to her. She began screaming. It was high pitched and non-stop. More like a ringing. Dogs in the neighbor hood started howling. 7
Suddenly, she began to light up. She was glowing and still screaming. I backed up a few steps, The light was blinding, I shielded my eyes. When I turned back the light had faded and she was gone. I went to turn on the lights but the power was out. When I tried the door it wouldn't open.8
Then, something was brushing against my leg. I reached down, it was my cat Miels. I scratched his chin and felt a little relieved. The desk lamp began to flicker. I realized Miels was wet with something. In the flickering light I realized it was blood.9
I looked at the cat and realized he was decomposing before my eyes, alive. His skin was decaying and he no longer had eyes. Scared, I jumped onto my bed, but he followed. I shouted and pushed him away with my foot, but he jumped up onto my lap. I was scared and I quickly picked him up and threw him across the room, he laid there, but didn't move... he slowly disappeared before my eyes.10
The lights suddenly came on and the door flew open. The lights faded slightly to were I could just see I was alone in the room, the hallway was still pitch black. I could hear someone breathing from the living room. I slowly walk toward the open door and stared into the dark hallway.11
As everything came to focus, I could see the silhouette of a man. He was much taller than me and he was leaning on a chair. He looked hurt. I took a step forward and he turned to me, he had glowing red eyes... that was all I ever saw again.12
