Chapter 13
Sarah1
I had Mrs. Martin for Religion. The class was boring, but at least there were no forms to fill in. We talked about different Religious things through the whole class.23
Before History, which was our next class, a few people came over to talk to me.
‘Hey Sarah, I heard you might know someone who'll rent us a place. I'm Martin by the way,’ the tall guy said. He was holding hands with a really petite girl.
‘Hey, I'm Zoey. Nice to meet you. Ignore Martin, he's to straight forward sometimes,’ she playfully hit his head.
‘Hello. No it's no problem. I'll ask my aunt about the place. She'll most likely agree as long as nothing gets broken.’
‘That's cool. You know, you should join the students council-’
‘Zoey, you know that we have enough people on the council,’ another girl, with light brown hair said looking over at me.
‘Oh Sandra, stop it.'
‘Don't take it personally Sarah, but there really is no free spots at the moment,’ she said before walking off.
‘Don't mind her. Sandra can be like that sometimes, but she's really nice when you get to know her,’ Zoey smiled.
‘It's OK. I don't think I'd have time for it, anyway.’
‘OK, but tell me or Martin if you'll change your mind. See you tomorrow.’ They waved before walking to their next class.45
‘Looks like you're popular at this school,’ Adam, who just returned from his locker, chuckled.
‘I'm the new kid, it's expected,’ I laughed.
‘Let's go, Mr Beaumont's history next.’
‘Him again?’
‘You don't like him?’
‘You're kidding. He's awesome.’
We both laughed and went to history.6
