Letters from the Lost is a series of "letters" that are prayers from three girls. These girls are three different ages, live in three different towns, have three different family styles. They also represent me. Many of the things I write about them, come from my own life. They just have one thing I didn't when I was going through these things; God. I've often wondered what would've happened had i been a christian. This is my exploration of that.
We begin with Sarah who is 12 years old. Her mother recently remarried. the rest you must learn from her.

Dear God,3
Mom left today for Jamaica. I hate this stupid job of hers. I know, I know. She's in Doctors without Borders, and You want her to be there. But, what about me? I'm starting the sixth grade in a week and Roy doesn't know how to handle girls. So what's up? Why can't she stay home this once? I'll do anything if You'll just send her home. Please let my mommy come back. This year is going to be horrible without her.
Ok well it's been a long day, good night.4
