Dawn of the Twilight Beast

Raising from the land of the silent, a shadow arose. A soft growling escaped its throat and would terrify any human in the area. But this was a place to keep sleeping beasts, to drug them to sleep. But now, in the middle of the night, a beast was awakening. 1

"Report from sector B, Beast TWILIGHT is awakening. Emergency: Sector B, Beast TWILIGHT is awakening," a patrolling cop called the owner. Minutes later 'Beast Care' vans pulled up outside the door.2

"So, lowly human, you wish to stop me? Your attempt was truly pathetic. Nobody can stop me, I am the legendary TWILIGHT," the shadow said, leaning forwards.3

"Lowly human? I believe you have underestimated me," the cop challenged.4

"I never underestimate an enemy," the beast spat. The shadow flickered out of existance and in a second the cop was devoured by an invisible force. Five seconds later, the Vampire Secret Service burst in and one made the shadow solidify. Six vampires held him down and one drugged it to sleep.5

"Master. Can we feast on this beautiful beast?" asked a beautiful vampire woman with a long, elegant dress.6

"Feast on him if you wish," the master vampire said truthfully.7

A hoard of vampires jumped onto the sleeping shadow monster and their teeth sank in and blood dripped. By the end of the night, the resting place in Sector B for TWILIGHT was dripping with blood.8

Nami was so happy. Today was her visit to the Church of the Sleeping Beasts and it had been a long time. Vampyre Services were a good bunch and Nami's parents were some of the most trusted agents. 9

"Oh yay this is so cool! My first visit to my mum and dad's company!" Nami sang while skipping up the road. Inside the building, Nami's tension sank away. She was amazed at the beasts Vampyre had collected to stop the public from losing. 10

"There was a fight last night," Dad said and he led Nami and her sister Tuki into Sector B. They examined the floor which was covered in blood.11

"One escaped!?" Nami was shocked.12

"They have to drug them to sleep. Some of these, like Horisian have been sleeping for centuries without awakening. Some of them like Ari wake often so they have to drug them to sleep again. Annoying huh, Nami?" asked Dad.13

"It'll be so cool, putting ancient beasts to sleep!" Tuki said. An alarm buzzed into life and Nami ran after her dad to Section AB4 with Tuki following close behind. A massive griffin, taller than all of the beasts in the 'sanctuary', as Nami called it, reared into the air. 14

"Stand back!" Dad said to Nami and he sent a knife slamming into the griffin. It screeched and ran towards Nami, whose eyes glinted and the griffin fell to the floor.15

"My cool ability- kill anybody with a glint of my own eye," Nami said and she leapt on the griffin and began to drink. 16

The chairperson of Vampyre Services looked at the picture of the girl Nami destroy a massive griffin with a glint of her eye. 17

"Impressive. Sir Stevish, bring her hear for the new Head of the Erasion group!" the chairman said, and hours later Nami was fighting beasts that belonged out of this world. And every victory led vampires flocking to drink the massive amounts of blood...18

"We have an endless urge for blood. My ability gives thousands of vampires a chance to feast. Our race will live life out with the humans, exist with them. We will feast not on the blood of our humans, but animals and beasts from here. I declare this as the chairman's will." -From the diary of Nami, 2345
