I could feel my cheeks warm up as she walked by. Her platinum blonde hair was up as ever, and her emerald eyes, chilling and piercing. But it made me feel the exact opposite. It made me feel warm and loved that she would actually take the time to look at my face.1
Larxene slowed her pace as she came across me. She stared for a while, and smiled. With a single wink, she left, leaving me dimbstruck with admiration. I sighed and slumped against the white wall behind me.2
"Ignoring you again?" a dark voice rang out of the emptiness. Zexion formed before me, his silvery-blue hair hangig in his pale blue eyes. A playful smile was on his lips.3
"She's not ignoring me!" I said, crossing my arms, "She winked!"4
"So what? She winked at me this morning," his voice trailed off as he saw the anger on my face. I glared at him, and he laughed, "Come now, Marluxia. You cna't keep her all to yourself."5
"What, do you like her?"6
"Hell no. What I mean is, she can't only stay with you. She's fickle like that; one night you're sharing a passionate kiss, the next she'll be in, let's say, Axel's bed, cuddling up to him."7
"That's sick!" I growled, but doubt was still in my voice. Larxene did seem like the type to do something like that.8
But although I doubted and knew that, I couldn't help feeling attracted to her. Everything she did, every contact we made... It just fed the romance. In my point of view, at least. 'I wonder what she thinks...' I thought.9
"Hey Marluxia!" Zexion slapped my cheek lightly. I instinctively gripped his wrist hard, digging my nails into it. He effortlessly kicked me in the stomach, knocking me back.10
"Don't kick me!"11
"Then don't kill my wrist!"12
"Sorry. Natural insticts," I grumbled, groaning as I tried to stand up straight. He sighed.13
"Whatever," he crossed his arms, annoyed, "Don't apologize; you look and sound like a pansy." he took my wrist and started dragging me across the halls of the Castle that Never Was, "Let's get you a Larxene, shall we?"
