The Story Of Akemi

This story starts in a historically remembered battle. Siege Of Osaka November 1614-January 1615. In History the Toyotimi fell down to the Togugawa, making the Togugawa the rulers, whiping out the last threats to their rule. The Twist in Plot in this story is the fact Akemi, is a young and one of the few warrior girls, and is fighting for the Toyotomi and with her help they repel the attackers, for a little while. 1

This starts in the second week of the Togugawa assualt, leading 1500 men agaisnt 600 defenders in a small fort. I have up-scaled it to 20000 attacking 9000. 2

The Curtains to Akemi's room are opened quickly, the young japanese girl looks up, trying to make out what is before her, but everything is bluery. 3

"Akemi, the call to action has be raised, please wake up your armor awaits for you outside in the courtyard." Said, but a young japanese boy, no older then 14. He then scurried off to the barracks to awake the rest of the soldiers in this small village. 4

Akemi proceeded to get out of her bed, and put on a robe, she couldnt walk naked through the streets. She then got out of her little home, which could be no bigger then 4 metre's each way, just enough to have a fire and a bed.5

She took her white robe off the bed, and put it over her body, grabbed her sandals and proceeded through the village to the courtyard. By the time she arrived most of the men were allready their puting on their samuria armor. She then opened the gate, which was more like a horse's stall gate, but it worked and went through waved at some of the guys. The nice one other whistled as usual. 6

She quickly gave them the finger as she walked by, some took this the wrong meaning, and she grabbed her armor. It was the usual traditionaly samuria armor, expect for one thing. Instead of the classic katana and blade she had claws. Sharp claws made of pure silver and iron.8

They weighed atleast three times the amount of a katana each, but after a few years of wearing these things she got use to them, she put it on like a glove, and strapped it on tight. Extra tight and carefully, for last time they fell of in the heat of battle, and she allmost lost her life.10

It's been a month since she had a chance to use these babies, she examined them closely, they were still blood stained. Then behind her came Yukimaru Sanada, who had just defended the Sanada-Maru agaisnt an army of 3000 but a day ago. (In history The Sanada-Maru is defended near the end of the winter campaign, right now is 2 weeks into the Winter Campaign.)12

Whenever Akemi saw this brave young warrior she blushed, and this time was no diffrent, she quickly grabbed her helmet and put it on so Yukimaru could not see. Although she knew Yukimaru saw her blush all the same.14

"Are you ready Akemi, in but a hour the enemy should be here, im leading the front line and i want you to be beside me." Quickly whispered Yukimaru into Akemi's ear. Akemi couldnt believe what she heard, she quickly bit her lips to avoid slipping words she did not want to say.16

She instead calmy nodded her head. Although Yukimaru didnt notice this small gesture and shook Akemi and repeated himself "I said do you want to come with the front line to me Akemi!" The rest of the courtyard looked at the two.18

Akemi couldnt control her anger at that point and jabbed, lightly the red armored samuria in the stomach, just hard enough to make him grab his stomach."You deaf fool, i said yes Yukimaru!" yelled Akemi20

Yukimaru couldnt help but laugh, as he picked up his spear he lead Akemi towards the front of the village, followed by the rest of the squad, about 500 men. Then Yukimaru did something he had never done before, he held Akemi and kissed her through his helmet. 22

Akemi quickly blushed and started walking sideways, Yukimaru quickly grabbed her and then ran with her down the hill, where they then waited for the enemy.24

It was an akward silence between the squad for the rest of the hour, with only a few musou soups being passed around, and a few small conversations. 26

The silence was quickly broken for in the distant the Togugawa army could be seen, 1000 men walking towards them, 5000 others going around to get the village from behind, Yukimaru's but little 500 men quickly got into formation as Akemi followed Yukimaru to the front. He quickly whispered "This is it" and before even five minitues were up they were engaged in combat, yukimaru lead the assualt, as Akemi fell back a few lines then sprinted towards the enemy.28

In the chaos Akemi quickly spotted her first victim, she made sure her two claw gloves were on tight, and felt the point of all six ends, and quickly charged. The man she was charging towards just finished off one of her comrads, in red armor. The enemy was in blue. The look on the soldiers eyes signalled confusion as not many females were in the millitary.30

He laughed, and dropped his katana, and took out his tiny dagger. As an insult to Akemi signalling weakness. Akemi smirked she had seen this act many of times before, and yet she killed every single person, this shall be no diffrent. She lunged at the soldier, catching his dagger in one hand between two points and her left glove caught him by the neck. Quickly decapitation him. 32

An ugly sight but one none the diffrent then many she had seen before. Then something weird happend, the Togugawa cheered and fell back they retreeted with all their speed. Leaving an ugly sight, one that would kill the morale of the squad.34

Akemi quickly ran to the circle, to see Yukimaru dead, with a sword through his heart and a dagger through his neck. 36
