Saria:Carved in the Legend

Saria, a young girl, was always excited. She decided to help a boy her age named Link. She waited untill he woke to see if he had finally gotten a fairy. To her surprise, he did!1

" Link! You got a fairy!" Saria exclaims, smiling brightly. " Yep!" "Link, the Great Deku Tree must speak to you!" The fairy leads the way to the entrance near the Deku Tree. 2

Days later, Saria notices Link leaving Kokiri forest with the Kokiri Emerald. She hides behind the bridge, letting him walk halfway before shouting, " Link!" He stops, and turns around.3

"...I always knew you were different than me and my friends, Link. " Saria pulls out an ocarina, placing it in Link's hands.4

"Please...Will you visit the forest again one day?" Saria smiles. Link backs up, and runs into Hyrule Castle, avoiding Saria's question.5

Saria runs into the forest, running up the path to the Lost Woods. Silent tears stream down her face as she enters the Sacred Forest Meadow. 6

Saria runs to her special spot in the meadow, the stump next to the Meadow Temple. She pulls out her ocarina, and plays her song.7

Weeks pass, and Link slowly climbs the stairs to reach the Meadow Temple. Saria is playing her ocarina. She looks up, her gaze meeting Link's. She gasps, dropping the ocarina.8

Link runs over, and asks about spiritual stones. Saria slowly plays her ocarina. Link pulls out his ocarina, memorizing the song. 9

" Whenever you have a problem, play this song to tell me it. I will try to answer." Saria smiles. " This place will be important for both of us one day, I can sense it." Link thanks Saria,and leaves the forest for years.10

Saria matured since she last saw Link. She got shy and quiet. Her song was more complexed. She had almost fixed the Temple steps. Saria was dating Mido. Without Link, the village was quiet. People moved away, and giant plants grew. The Deku Tree's curse took place in Kokori. Only Saria was left. And she stayed in the meadow.
