Update section (I update this periodically)

October 101

Well, I arrived in Tennesee last week or so and I got to meet a whole wonderful bunch of folks there; names are Nick (my Grecian boss), Shiela, Amy, Patricia (all blonde waitresses), and Sarah (not a blonde though--just a brunette from the Chicago area). They are a great bunch of folks to talk with when things slow down at the diner (I work in the back room, washing those "adorable" dishes by the way). Up on the ceiling is a little yellow sign that warns me to check the pans before dumping them as some silverware got lost--and if the warning wasn't enough, then maybe the fear of God would somehow "frighten" me into faithful obedience as it was "signed" by none other then the "Big Man Himself"! 2

As for the restaurant, it aint too shabby if I do say so myself (which I just did). You go through the entry-way and you see a chalk board with the latest special deal on it and when you get passed that, you enter into a semi-massive room with one long buffet table on the side of the room and chairs, tables, and booths located where they're supposed to be, chairs and tables randomly occupying various spaces in the middle of the room and booths just haaanging out with each other by the windows (except for the ones on the OTHER side of the buffet table). See, THOSE guys are just "too cool" for the "window crowd"--THEY are SPECIAL booths because THEY are the ones that are reserved ONLY for the best which just happens to be...people like me. : )3

I'll say this and then clam up and sign out; My boss and I were sitting in the "executive booths", trying to come up with an idea for a good movie as he has a friend who does those kind of things (dude's name is Robert Vaghan, author of the book "Armor of God", seminar host of, I think, "Writing on the Beach" or something like that.) Anyways, I had this idea, see, and as soon as he heard a little of the story, he liked it--and maybe you will too. 4

But now, see, I gotta write out the outline for it BEFORE I give away any details, ok? So, I'll be seeing you wonderful folks around--and you'd BETTER comment!5
