Leafpool nodded, sucking in the tears, tears of both happiness and sadness. Slowly she crossed the stream, her tail then intertwined with Crowfeather's, she looked into his eyes, his eyes were full of happiness, not a trace of sadness. Of course, he never had had a good connection with his clan, Leafpool did. 1
Her mentor was like a second mom, she had a sister who had a special connection with her, Firestar, her father, was leader, a father she could be proud of and look up to. And her mom was always there, tough for her kids, but not afraid to show emotion, she understood and taught her kits to be tough and understanding, Leafpool hoped Squirrelflight would remember that lesson now, the time Leafpool knew Squirrelflight would need it. They were closer then sisters, so she knew her sister would take it hard, and would probably hate her for awhile before the understanding sunk in.2
Crowfeather watched her eyes as she thought threw this, as she let her memories of growing up, of her sister finally growing out of her shell of a stubborn naive apprentice a bit as she left to the sun-drown place, and when she came back as a fully grown proud, strong and great cat, the kind of sister you could go to for help. Usually Leafpool had been helping Squirrel flight, she led those memories flood her too. Then as her sister left and returned from choosing territory's and camps for the clans, and as they settled in, as she discovered the moonpool.3
All this overwhelmed her as she took one last look behind her before she and crowfeather ran. She kept her head just slightly looking back, so Crowfeather wouldn't see her tears and want to turn back, and so she could watch the last of her past life slip away from few, finally it was fully gone, she looked down. After what seemed like forever they found a nice small den. Crowfeather went in and she followed. As they lay down he look in her eyes, searching for her thoughts as she just stared, still going through many memories, from her earliest memory, when she was just a small kit playing with Squirrelflight, to when she was chosen as a medicine cat apprentice. From being trapped in the cages with Cody and graystripe rescuing her to now.4
"A mouse for your thoughts?" Crowfeather finally asked, giving up the search in her eyes, which were full of remorse, Sorrow, Love, Sadness, Regret and Happiness.
"I'm just dwelling on the memories I have, of my whole life, I never want to forget a single thing, Even the fights, every moment is precious to me." She answered.
"Do you think this is wro-" He started,
"No." She said sharply, cutting him off. "I just don't want to forget." She explained more gently. He nodded, understanding. 5
"You know Leafpool, I'll protect you, whatever the cost, I will." Crowfeather said, seeing the sudden fear take over her beautiful green eyes.
"I know," she answered softly, "I... We're just not used to not having a clan, it'll be harder without all that protection. Plus I have little training, what help could I be?" She asked.
"you'll me my inspiration," he whispered into her ear. Her eyes twinkled,
"I love it when your eyes do that." he added, she then laughed.
"Who dosen't? Who can resist my eyes?" She asked playfully, he just laughed, then the sighed and and scooted closer.
Was it good so far? Should I continue?

Hello, Nahara.
I think you have a good story idea brewing here. I would suggest some editing, but the characters and their emotions come off rather clearly.
